Hi I’m Aurikatariina and I deep clean my followers' homes for free! ❤️
Today I had the honor of helping a recovering alcoholic mom. Her adult kids asked for my help because they need to get this home sold so that their mom can move out. She can not afford to live in this big house alone. This house was huge and there was so much to clean! Of course I found some lovely moldy surprises!! Especially the bathroom was interesting. The sink was glogged and had obviously overfloweed on the floor. But it was so satisfying to clean.
Bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, living room cleaning, Organizing, deep cleaning, Washing, before and after pictures, satisfying results.

  • For those of you that are in this situation, please don't give up. We had a tenant who went through this. They were severely depressed, drinking too much, sleeping, and going to work. We got them help (didn't evict them either) and they felt so much better. They stopped drinking so much, started working out, and now they're getting married!

I have severe anxiety and my 75 year old father who lives with us has heart failure and severe depression since being widowed in 2017 and my husband has bipolar 1 adhd and has relapsed his alcoholism...I'm limited mobility and the poor house is just....impossible for me to keep up with as neither man throws anything away or cleans. • Hey people if you'd be so kind to wish me luck! 🥰🥰 I'm about to start a two week journey to get my apartment livable again. I can't afford help, and I can't afford to take the entire two weeks off of work, but I've been mentally preparing myself to do this for weeks now. My situation isn't far off from this, depressed amongst other mental health problems, been drinking lately which I never used to do, I'd say it's been over 2 years now since I did a real deep clean in my place. But this is the time it finally gets done. Unfortunately, my mother was living with me before she passed away a couple years ago so that means I have to go through her stuff too, but I figured mother's day weekend was a good time to start, for her. And for me. Anyway, I'm trying to psych myself up about it all, and Auri always does that for me. And the comments here always seem so encouraging so I appreciate any and all who took the time to read all that!! You're super kind lol. Off we go! 💜🖤

    @karenluebke1605@karenluebke1605 Жыл бұрын
    • I think the closest I got to this in Canada was using a spray bottle of Lysol and then an upholstery cleaner to vacuum up the scrubby mess. The hoover I used could spray rinse water and could be dumped right into the toilet and it got SO much dirt from weird places like the toilet surround and the awkward place where the floor meets the tub. I had to bring out big guns like the cleaner because my brother is tall and puked from too high up when he gave himself food poisoning 😅

    • A lot of bathrooms in Europe and most in Japan don’t have stalls for their showers. They are just wet rooms. So after you shower, your whole bathroom floor is soaking wet.

    • I was about to comment this exact same thing. like I wouldn't even mind cleaning the bathroom if I could just hose everything down lol especially because I don't like to use chemicals, I use lots of soap, water, vinegar and baking soda etc and it is such a pain in the ass to make sure all the soap gets off of certain places... especially when I want to clean the walls etc.. like WTF America... other countries have banned like 75% of the food ingredients in all our food AND they have wet bathrooms with drains? "best country" my ass lol

    • It's becoming popular in most places with newer builds. It's nice for cleaning, but as Auri said in this video, you can't do it all the time. It could be damaging to the cabinets and such. Also those drains are typically designed as more of an overflow situation. So if like the toilet clogs the water doesn't destroy the whole house.

      @Eventide215@Eventide215 Жыл бұрын
    • That floordrain is the norm in Finland! Homes with a separate toilet sometimes don't have a floordrain in that room, but the floordrain is always in rooms with showers. It isn't delicate, but a robust sewer drain. A lot of times there's no showercubicle, just a floordrain and a shower. Its actually rare to have a showercubicle with its own separate drain under it 😮

I so hope she will try to get some help with her problem before it destroys her as well as her home. I wish her and her daughters all the best for the future. It's so sad to watch someone you love with this terrible disease. I loved the tiles in the bathroom and the light fixtures in the living room.

    • Yeah cleaning for them without them also getting help is pretty pointless. It'll just end up right back where it was very quickly. That's why I like that Auri usually mentions that the person she cleaned for is getting help or has received help and just doesn't know where to start with cleaning. I think she realizes that if they aren't getting that help she would just be getting taken advantage of. Personally if I was doing these cleanings I'd want to see some kind of proof of them going to therapy or having gone as my "payment." Just to know that it likely won't end up back in the same condition.

  • The shower cleaning was one of the MOST satisfying cleaning ever I have seen. I didn't expect that sparkling white after that dirt. I merely assumed that it would just get to off-white. But white-white? Beautiful. Also I wondered if you could show us how to clean some marks left on the wooden floor or is that out of your range and it needs to be buffed before selling?

  • These videos are so helpful. Not only for tips, but also kind of desensitising cleaning. The way you get so excited about dirt and want to clean is just a whole different perspective to what I'm used to. A similar thing happened when I started watching Snake Discovery. I'd always found snakes somewhat creepy, but the moment I first saw Emily squeal at a baby hognose, it was like a switch went off in my brain. Snakes are cute now! While I still don't necessarily find dirt cute, I do find cleaning less daunting after watching your videos. When I ever have children, I definitely want them to experience this excited, joyful approach to cleaning, rather than what I got which was a lot of anger and huffing and puffing. Not the most motivating attitude to be exposed to. Rather than making me want to help clean, I grew up trying to keep as much out of the way as possible, leaving as little trace as I could.

  • I absolutely luv cleaning so much. But as a single mom of three it’s hard to get the right stuff to clean. As u can imagine the supplies can get expensive. Especially if ur living on a budget like I am. Barely making ends meet. But that doesn’t stop me from cleaning as much as I can in my home. It’s so satisfying. I just wish I could afford the right stuff to do it with. I came across a scrub daddy at the local store and it was 12 dollars!!! 12 dollars!!! It might not seem a lot to some people but when ur feeding three kids plus myself and paying bills and stuff, it’s a lot. Anyway, I absolutely luv the work that u do Auri!!! Don’t ever stop!!! U r giving these people hope again!!! God bless!!!

  • Hello Auri, i clean holiday cottages on weekly basis, some have rugs... i have a hyla vacuum (workes with water) it comes with a very powerful electric carpet brush. It cleanes carpets/sofas/ mattresses so effective, removes all dry dirt and also mites. I use this vaccum nearly every day. It can also be uses a air purifier. I purchased my hyla 2014 and it was the best investment i ever made😂 Until now i used the Enjo cleaning system, but i am interested to try the sini system when i have used all cleaning products.😂 you and Ami are doing a wonderful job helping this poor woman. I know the meaning of alcoholism. My sister is a alcoholic and there is no hope she will ever stop. I cleaned so many time her apartment. It is difficult. Greetings from 🇦🇹 Chrissy
