Thanks for watching!! Hope you enjoyed this Catch, Clean, Cook. Here are the latest Alabama Saltwater Fishing Regulations: www.outdooralabama.com/sites/default/files/Creel%20Limits%20B%26W%20for%20printing%2011-28-22.pdf
they work for crab bait? when I cut up threshers and makos up here in New England nothing will touch shark scraps
I just started making KZhead videos. Does anyone have advice on how I can improve?
Do you do charters??
Sorry one last thing: why doesn't someone make a fiberglass gaffe? The handle could be made of wood, some composite, whatever - but given shark's extreme sensitivity to metal, wouldn't this make sense? Just be sure to slice me a small cut if the idea takes off 🤣👍
Sweet thanks need to get to the gulf shores area, I'm in enterprise al
Dude is straight up catching sharks large as a man… in a boat.. by himself.. hats off to ya brother
Thanks, it was a challenge but super cool, rewarding, and organic !
8 footers... lol
Another thing is that to get the same amount of meat from another species, you'd have to kill a huge number of fish. By killing a big fish for food, you only have to do it once.
@@BamaSaltwater invite me let's eat shark meat together
1st time seeing this guy. Seems like a good dude living the life he wants to live. I dont even fish but i will watch his videos
Thanks for not wasting and respecting the creature, glad you mentioned that in this. Great video.
I really appreciate how you treated this wonderful creature of the sea with the outmost respect. Sharks are an essential part of the sea ecosystem, but this also means you are allowed to harvest some - and when done responsibly it will only make a dent in the overall population - and possibly help the shark population stable.. Thank you very much for the show and tell !
What did I just watch !!? You caught a 7ft (ish) shark. Landed it. On a boat. By yourself. That's just sick !! Your videos are becoming more epic with each one !! Keep it up !
Haha, it was a tough one but we got it done HAHA! Thanks

your respect for the rules and regulations is really commendable . amazing catch there

Excellent catch and cook, Steven! Love the hospitality and the videos! Thanks for sharing this with us! Stay Safe and Healthy!
So glad you liked it, thank you!

So crazy!!! One of the best fishing videos I’ve ever seen!
I am so happy to see that nothing went to waste.
Hands down the best fishing channel out there! I'm just getting into salt water fishing and thankful for your content
Love the simpler videos but holy this gotta be one of the most impressive fishing videos. The way he muscled that big boy in on his own 👏🏼👏🏼

@@BamaSaltwater was it good out they
Wow within 2 minutes, we went through so much info and set up and were already fish on. This is the type of flow to a fishing video that there should be!! Dope
Nice to meet you today on the Orange Beach Pier; the day after you caught this little monster. I'm not really a fisherperson but I really enjoyed the video and the conversation with you today. I will check out your other videos and maybe even get "hooked" on this fishing activity. I'm from St Louis and there is not too much water around my home but your video inspires me to get my old rod out again. Your video is well-done and your display on cooking your shark was great. You can tell that you love what you do. And you do it respectfully. Thank You
Nice meeting and talking with you as well! Welcome to the Channel!!!
Epic video congrats on that! Love the open water fishing you had some good action with that, and then that shark showed up and a big one at that awesome of you to pull that out by yourself. Everything was great and it looked delicious towards the end of the video
Thanks! It was very unexpected , and I couldn't believe I finally got it in the boat. Such a cool experience, I was so happy to share the meat with everyone too! Thanks!
Absolutely incredible video!! To me this really exemplifies the difference between saltwater and freshwater fishing. When that shark shot by the boat.. That was so cool! When you pulled it on the boat I said "holy crap" and then you said the same, haha! What a fight, good job man. I appreciate you explaining the regulations and not shying away from keeping and cooking fish like this, our culture has got to learn to grow a spine and understand where our food comes from!
It's definitely a cool experience! Saltwater fishing provides a big variety compared to anything else! Thank you!
Thank you for the point about understanding where our food comes from. I've been an avid fisherman all my life but have always been a "catch and release" guy. And for trophy species in public freshwater, that's probably fine. But I have a very good friend with a farm pond that has been taken over with huge bluegill and medium (9" - 12") sized bass. We all know it needs culled but nobody has pulled the trigger on that since her husband passed away. But thanks to your comment, that will happen this summer.
Idk dude.. all that heavy metal in that shark.. what happened to the fins? 😂
how much does a shark tag run ya in florida?
I don’t think shark is generally a part of most Americans’ diets…
Beast Mode, the man went absolutely beast mode on Moby, epic😮😮😮
That rod deserves a medal! Nice catch.
Always enjoy the content. Your catch and cooks are getting better and better. Your crushing it dude.
Awesome, Bama. Really cool vid. Tell us about your culinary history. It is a lot of fun to see an open wide vision of food culture and cuisine. Also I really enjoy your range of fishing species. Please, more!
I like how positive you are. Makes the videos even more enjoyable.
I love how you treat fish not enough people apricate sharks. I was taught from a young age to not fear sharks, I never have. People think of sharks and I hate it. Thank you for taking your time and treating this beautiful creature
Congratulations bro you hit 100k!!!! That plate of food looked soooo amazing!!! As always loved the video 👍👍 thanks for taking us along on all your adventures.

Don’t know how this channel ended up in my feed but I’m glad it did. Such a pleasant video.
Extraordinary technique, and respect for your catch to boot, very humane way of catch and release. Very gentle skills with that rod, I notice your catches prior to the sharks you could see minimal damage to the fish you weren't going to keep. Great job dude.
Thank you brother!
Hey Steven. That was a great catch and cook. I had no idea shark could be cooked up like that. We don’t see many shark up here in Michigan so it’s cool to see you catching all these unique species. Keep up the good work and thanks for keeping the Good Lord at the center of what you do.

Great show, most of all the cooking n fishing 👊🏿🇯🇲one love bra!
Thanks brother !
Great job 🎉 I like how clean you kept the catch n.cook cool man 🤝
Thanks man!
What an incredible catch and landing. I never would've guessed a rod that small could land a shark that large. I love how you emphasized the blessing it was to land such a beautiful creature and that you didn't want to waste any of the meat. It bothers me when our fellow fisherman don't have respect for their catch. Also I like how you explained that it was legal to keep and that they have a thriving population. I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland where Striped Bass numbers and sizes have plummeted due to a variety of reasons including overfishing yet tons of people still keep them. The average size you catch today is like half of what it was even 20 years ago. It's as if people don't realize that eventually there won't be any more to catch if you keep wiping out prime breeding age Stripers. They keep ones that are just barely legal size and I just think "were those two tiny fillets that aren't even big enough for a meal worth ending that fishes life before it could make thousands of babies and grow into a trophy sized Striper? Their kids might not even get to experience catching one because they're being wiped out.
If you really had respect you would release the shark and catch something that is in more abundance.
@@shiraz1736 He said that these sharks have a thriving population.
Love this guy! Wish I could go fishing with him. Keep the faith brother.

This was a tremendous video bud. To be able to get that shark up into the boat alone was something to see. I look for shark catch and cook videos. The spinner shark is currently listed by the World Conservation Union (IUCN) as “Near Threatened” throughout its range and “Vulnerable” in the northwest Atlantic Ocean.
Thank you, i had to scroll a really long time to see a comment like this.
@TheGoffelLP yeah hope the dude in the video was told this eventually. Not cool to kill endangered sharks.
go cry somewhere else, he has proper etiquette harvesting fish. good sportsmen such as him is what’s really “near threatened” in this world
@@StevenMcTowweleeie It's not endangered. If it was, it would be regulated. Even so, it's commercial fisherman that are doing the real damage to fish populations, not individual fisherman like Bama Saltwater

Thank ya!
Wow, first time I'm watching your stuff and I'm respectfully impressed, very down to earth and humble, no bragging or arrogance, just you enjoying what you're doing and sharing information , very respectul toward nature and I admire you for that
Sharks are endangered species. Hope you keep this video so your great grandchildren can see what a shark looked like.
Only some shark species are endangered and everything he did in this video was completely legal...if a shark or any animal is endangered, it is completely illegal to harvest the animal. This man has shown countless times his respect for the regulations of wildlife...and sometimes it can be healthy for the population of a species if some of them are taken out so there is food for the rest
Nah that's just wrong, beginning at that beeing a shark and the fact u let it suffer on ur boat instead of killing it instantly.
Congrats on 100k!! You have gained ALOT of subs over the past coule months. Keep up what ur doing
Thanks man! Fishing is my passion and I love sharing it with everyone !
