Had lots of fun on the play test. Tried mw3/warzone out for the first time today. Xdefiant feels so much better. The graphics and art style pop much more than modern day cod. I was an XD hater initially but I think it will do very well.

@@JadedJoe-tk3vmCod has sbmm which means you’re most likely to put in lobbies with people in your skillset instead of it just being random. Cod is either sweaty or bot lobbies and if you are a good player you have to do things like vpn or play with low lvls to get easier lobbies. SBMM Off means lobbies will be alot more balanced for everyone and your K.D won’t matter so it’s mix of good and horrible players.

This brings back some nostalgia of call of duty 4 multiplayer for me, looks fast paced with no BS skidding and jetpacks. Can't wait to round up what's left of the boys and play this. I'm still only playing MCC and fallout whilst I use my spin bike in the workshop... I think this game is gonna be welcome in my life!

I am one of the few players that always play PvP whenever I buy Call of Duty series. Barely touch the story mode. Yeah, yeah, I'm guilty. However, I stopped playing CoD for several years now. But XDefiant? Free-to-play? Out on May 21st? Okay, you have my attention. Let's see how it goes.

From what I’ve heard no there will be no SBMM.
As someone who’s diamond ranked in ranked mode and has thousands of hours in MW2 - MW3 , this looks and seems like it feels much better then MW3 and it’s free and I can’t wait to leave the overplayed MW3 COD franchise that kill the game after a year and see how this game is, no rigged matches and exploiters cheating.

If they want to make this game truly successful, they need to do what Counter Strike and League of Legends have done. Market for eSports while still having gameplay modes for casual players.

Agreed. COD has had such a monopoly on arcade FPS and they no longer put any effort into the games anymore. Modern Warfare 3 is the first ever COD game I haven’t bought (not counting Call of Duty 1-3) so I feel like they’re losing more and more fans. Honestly ever since leaving the franchise, I’ve been really getting into more milsim tactical FPS and really enjoying them. But you’re right, outside of COD there are no arcade shooters. Until now ;)

As a 10 year call of duty buyer and once biased cod player, apex is definitely better, more fun, and more skill required to play. Had left apex once warzone made its debut but when I went back to apex after a couple years I asked myself why did I ever leave? It’s fun af. If you love competitiveness, it’s the right game to play.

Feels like Call of Duty but is understandable because it’s made by the same people who made Call of Duty, the soul is there. So why the hate? Now being F2P it will compete with Microsoft Call of Duty so competition is good for consumers. Being F2P means no need of PS PLUS/pay to play online so when this comes out bye PS PLUS.

overrally its a fun game but i think shutguns should have a buff with more firerate and snipers get faster so you could fast scope would make the fun even more

From the running animations, hit marker, sound effects, the narration throughout the match and hell even the UI has a similar theme to how cods color scheme is. "So any game that’s a shooter is now a COD knockoff?" Apex, CS2, siege, the finals, valorant, etc all have unique attributes that contribute to the genre but this game does nothing for it.
