Stephen Chow (director and star of Shaolin Soccer) is at it again with his newest action-packed and comedic martial-arts adventure, KUNG FU HUSTLE. From wildly imaginative kung fu showdowns to dance sequences featuring tuxedoed mobsters, you've never seen action this outrageous and characters this zany! With jaw-dropping fight sequences by Yuen Wo Ping (famed action choreographer of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and The Matrix), KUNG FU HUSTLE will blow you away! In a town ruled by the Axe Gang, Sing (Stephen Chow) desperately wants to become a member. He stumbles into a slum ruled by eccentric landlords who turn out to be kung fu masters in disguise. Sing's actions eventually cause the Axe Gang and the slumlords to engage in an explosive kung fu battle. Only one side will win and only one hero will emerge as the greatest kung fu master of all.

  • The moment at 1:33 always brings a happy tear to my eye. Here we have two guys who both probably thought they were normal neighbors until they saw the other fight. Both realizing they’re not alone as Kung-Fu Masters in-hiding. Both recognizing they need to team up in order to defeat this new threat to their homes. The sheer instant recognition that instantly, INSTANTLY, makes them become allies/friends. And of course that calm yet still epic melody of the music just amplified that by 1,000! HELL YEAH!!! And of course we have my favorite, Donut at 1:54, the final Master in-hiding realizing that shit just got serious upon seeing the Axe Gang whip out those Tommys and probably thinking, “Time to make the motherfucking noodles!” I love this movie!!!

As he was overwhelmed by thugs, the second guy with fists, which is close-quarter combat, assisted him. And finally, when all the thugs were overwhelming them, the last guy with aoe damage helped them.

  • The iron fist is based on an actual fighting style. There are pros and cons to this style. Although your punches will be stronger and harder, the weight of the rings make them heavier and slower. You must train for years to keep up with that style.
