Gonna tell my kids that this was Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings
Bruhh😂😂😂
Hell yeah
1:15
And god of dragon spear... Dont forget about it bro
Great pun
I know this is a movie meant to be funny and whatnot, but we ALL must admit, it has one of the sickest fighting scenes ever to be put on film. I consider this movie a masterpiece. One of my all time favorites
Absolutely. I love this film, and never get tired of this scene - it's cheesy and over the top, but also beautifully choreographed and incredibly badass.
It has THREE of the best fight scenes in kung fu cinema. An absolute legend.
If only Dragonball Evolution movie and Iron Fist series were a bit like this, it would be so much better.
Forgot how good the kung fu was, need to rewatch it.
Kind of the only movie that can pull off funny and dark theme at the same time. If you call this movie is masterpiece, yes you are absolutely right bro. Up until now i still impress with all actor and their fight choreography
If my kids ever ask why people always fly in Chinese movies I’m gonna tell them that China has lower gravity
Meanwhile indian movies: gravity exists?
@@biganchor6049 not just gravity PHYSICS literally don't exist in INDIAN movies LOL
Kind of the Chinese version of the natives gang from gangs of new York
You should also tell your kids Light Speed is the Slowest Speed among US Superheroes.
this was hongkong movie....china movie was different
0:55 The kung fu equivalent of "Call a ambulance... but not for me!"
Got a tailor-made beating
I love how the dude with the bandana is the Master of "kicking really fucking hard".
Hola papi como estas
Yoooooo gman is here too
His name is Sanji
@@danieldorado390 bro?? 🤨🤨📸
Naw ken lo is the master of that
The moment at 1:33 always brings a happy tear to my eye. Here we have two guys who both probably thought they were normal neighbors until they saw the other fight. Both realizing they’re not alone as Kung-Fu Masters in-hiding. Both recognizing they need to team up in order to defeat this new threat to their homes. The sheer instant recognition that instantly, INSTANTLY, makes them become allies/friends. And of course that calm yet still epic melody of the music just amplified that by 1,000! HELL YEAH!!! And of course we have my favorite, Donut at 1:54, the final Master in-hiding realizing that shit just got serious upon seeing the Axe Gang whip out those Tommys and probably thinking, “Time to make the motherfucking noodles!” I love this movie!!!
I’m glad someone else noticed that too! It was subtle but that glance they gave each other made me feel so emotional.
Insane acting. The look they gave each other gives me chills.
Lol we get all into the movie like this, its hilarious. Such a shame they all died though, especially the coolie, he didn't even know what was coming, and I thought it was cool when you see the cats shadow get sliced in half 😢
I can feel it deeply heartwarming 😭❤️
yes!!!
What's really interesting is that the movie provided clues that these guys were a little bit more than just laborers and tailors.
It works as a joke to the common questions of "where did all those Kung Fu Masters go?", the answer is "They've done enough killing in their days and now they all hide in a place and enjoying their peace".
tom arnold pretty much
And most of them all badass even a child
They all were in a way practicing kungfu which wasnt visible to a common man's eye.
I believe it’s mentioned in the movie that because they hated the bloodshed and mayhem before they chose to retire and hide amongst commoners.
This was one of the last greatest Kung Fu movies that I've seen. Nothing has come close ever since. I really miss the time and era this was released...
Should watch the Ip Man movies starring Donnie Yen
Also 36th chamber of Shaolin.
IP man is more realistic, more possible in real life. This is hyper-realistic, what we "wish" Kung Fu could be. Different genre really
@@whysos3rious88 this. Ip man is excellent
Then u didnt see more movies of this kind from 70s - 2000s
If you watched Shang-Chi already, Shang has a poster of this movie in his bedroom in San Francisco. It’s an Easter egg in that Marvel movie
What the hell. This is just amazing. Love it
Shang chi dreams of being as great as the tailor
Yeah, they included Kungfu Hustle name in the credit title
It's probably not a good idea to make people think of an actually good movie while watching your generic Marvel trash.
@@DiggitySlice shang chi are not even close to kung fu hustle, imagine Stephen chow with the best cgi and high budget
1:33 Favorite moment. The two heroes only now recognize who the other is, and still fight side by side as if they'd done so for years.
Fun fact, almost each Main Characters in this movie are Real Life Kung Fu Master.
What? For Real?

no! 👎
And better characters and story
You can compare Masters with Bability bruh LOL

thats some luffy zoro and sanji vibes right there Xd
@Xandem They can be none other then The Hot, The Cool, and The Vicious 😅
What touches me most is the effort these ordinary, nameless, random people put to protect the ones they love. Kung Fu is just a romantic imagination of the power and love of them.
Stephen Chow....the greatest kung fu movie maker of all time
jackie chan and stephen chow made movies together?
@@easymixedsignals534 sadly no
@Thor Odinson They did , but they only made a short episode of each other, not a kung fu movie
i gently disagree. i would pick "once upon a time in China 1 2 and 3 when it comes to kung fu movies. Jet Li is just superb there.
I love stephen chow but.. maybe not kung fu lmao.. comedy yes but he is not trained in martial arts. Bruce Lee and Jackie chan and people are trained in martial arts. Fun fact land lady in this movie was trained in the same place as jackie chan

Single handedly one of the greatest fight scenes ever put to film, for some unknown reason it always fills me with emotion.
Its the visual call to arms. When enough is enough.
1:19 .. Yes.. that's the 10 rings
The Direction, choreography, camera work, soundtrack, everything. A Masterpiece.
The makers of this movie could 99.9% make a live action One Piece movie that Oda-san could be proud to endorse.
Wano arc finna be lit on reaching onigashima. What's more the fighting shown here could work for that fight😂
no, one-piece fights would be very CGI heavy, and China and Japan both have horrible cgi movies
@@episode2b35 Agreed. There's just no way you could find a 6-meter tall actor.
Bro, you sounds like Oda's servant, talking to himself in pride after finally found someone to pleased him

My god ill never forget when I was a kid watching this for the first time. I fell in love with this movie. I'm 23 now an I still think this movie is so badass

1:16 Forget about the Ten Rings, this dude has Twenty
Fun thinking is that Shang-Chi already knew how to work the ten rings after watching Kungfu hustle. As there was a poster of it in his room 😂
His final move he does to the creature is a variation of the Buddhist palm heavenly fist.
He wishes
@@DiggitySlice why would he wish? he CAN do it. can you?
I think the best fight scene of this movie was the one where the guys were playing music at night.
Using instruments and sound waves to attack enemies was a staple of wuxia dramas/movies. This movies just "shows" it best. Both the instrument part and the lion's roar of the landlady
Marvel Movie Executives: "We need a new movie." **This video pops up in their recommended** Marvel Movie Executives: "You see that at 1:16? Lets just do that!"
Damn that scene in Shang Chi and Legend of the Ten Rings is great!
Idk why i got so emotional, but I remember how seeing this movie made me feel. I felt like China was a mystical land and I remember how I wanted to sleep/eat/look like the fighters. This movie really worked up my imagination and I still love watching it. I remember between my brother, myself and my friend we would imagine we masters of a certain type of fighting , I miss being young and playing with them. I can only hope my future kids will get to have as much fun.
Awe, you cut it off right when the pole Master was about to start cracking skulls.
1:05 his style must require LOTS of core and arm strength to keep all those rings from sliding off his arms while fighting
What do you expect ? He is The Grandmaster of that style that focuses on strength and punches in real life
Iron fist style
Notice the smaller rings that are by his wrist. They block the rest from falling off.
Hung Gar kung fu has a lot of deep, powerful stances. Lots of conditioning for the core and lower body.

You gotta imagine, these guys were in hiding for the longest time, choosing to not reveal their abilities to their community for their own reasons, and none of them knew the others existed. It must’ve been a pretty liberating experience to see Coolie finally break the ice on who they really were and use their skills again.

THIS MOVIE HAS THE MOST BADASS VARIANT OF SHANG CHI
This has better fight scenes than most animes
Now THIS IS THE REAL TEN RINGS The origin
The real Ten Rings!
The brilliant set-up from the director. The first guy could only use kicks, which can only be used from a distance. As he was overwhelmed by thugs, the second guy with fists, which is close-quarter combat, assisted him. And finally, when all the thugs were overwhelming them, the last guy with aoe damage helped them.
This is much better than neo vs 100x agents.

The background score is as good as the fight sequences
This movie inspiring for sean chi
1:08 The real Ten Rings Mandarin ✌️✌️😎😎
The Landlord actor was in Shang Chi & The 10 Rings
The iron fist is based on an actual fighting style. There are pros and cons to this style. Although your punches will be stronger and harder, the weight of the rings make them heavier and slower. You must train for years to keep up with that style.
+100 endurance, +100 defense, +100 weight Weight 101/100 "You are encumbered"
