There is always a lane open 30 minutes before they close. At about 10 minutes before they close, the computers on the lanes start processing end of day and updating software. But after “the discount” the screen doesn’t show new prices, it shows the prices for the mini trash bags ($7.98) & the life size doll ($69) marked out- leaving only the hand massager ($32.44), which takes it from $118.45 to $35.12. Besides, how would the “associate is on the way” alert pop up? My guess is that you have to “X” out the items that would leave the transaction at half price.. Since he didn’t really show the screen after “the discount” you really only notice it if you screen record & play it back in slow-motion bc it’s not very clear at all once he got the “discount” although it was very clear & readable after scanning the items. So I guess he actually did pay half of the original price, after two of the items were cancelled & removed- not bc of any discounts. 😒

Well, from what I have seen at my local Walmart, items on the clearance isle isn’t marked down very much from the original price. Most of the items that I have seen, over the last few years of looking at my Walmart, might be 10% off and maybe 20% if you’re lucky. Every now and again I’ll see something that is 50% off or maybe a tad bit more but it’s usually shit nobody needs and/or wants.

Besides, how would the “associate is on the way” alert pop up? My guess is that you have to “X” out the items that would leave the transaction at half price.. Since he didn’t really show the screen after “the discount” you really only notice it if you screen record & play it back in slow-motion bc it’s not very clear at all once he got the “discount” although it was very clear & readable after scanning the items. So I guess he actually did pay half of the original price, after two of the items were cancelled & removed- not bc of any discounts. 😒

I work in self checkout. Here's what happened, he removed the condoms and the toy, and that's why there was an alert on the screen for an associate to remove the items. The "hand massager" was 32.44, and the total stayed the same.

Not sure if this would work, but walk into your closest Walmart and enter 20-30 mins before closing(as said in the video)Now you need to have one of two things. Either a friend working the night shift at Walmart or you yourself working at Walmart(3rd option find someone who lost a badge/least likely option) now when it asks for the badge js call your homie over there or use yours and save 50% on your groceries for the week as a broke college student.
the main reason to do this is so if the same workers are there when you buy something, you arent told no or just have the store genuinely angry at you
Yea you're going to need a pass code with that badge...it doesn't work on it's own...so find one and scanning it wont do nothing without the badge owner's code.
