I'm watching Queen of Tears, Fight for my way & My Liberation Notes all at the same time. She's so versatile of an actress that I can dive into each drama and really be immersed in her character without thinking twice. 11/10 actress that deserves way more roles in the future.
You can add Lovestruck in the City (with Ji Chang Wook) to the list! I just finished it, watched it while waiting for new QoT episodes.

I've known her since The Heirs, though. Then her stellar performance in "Descendants of the Sun" as co-lead and "Fight for My Way". Her aera aegyo has been all over the place, too.
After the queen of tears's bts and talkshow i realized the actress's personality is very introverted while in the fight my way she played a cheerful extrovert person. Playing the role as the opposite character really amazed me how it doesn't feel awkward for her to play as aera and it must be not easy for her.. i imagine myself as an introverted person it's already draining my energy. She has good acting talent..😮 i think in 'my liberation note' she plays herself in real life.. the character is fit to her personality in real life.

Arthdal may not be well recieved in korea but her character as tanya is one of my favorite role she played,, been a fan for a long time already and all i can say is kim jiwon never just acted the role but literally giving life to each of them, she become the character herself and thats what make her the best for me

True. I am not fond of watching ongoing KDramas, but I watched Arthdal while it was airing. Kim Jiwon as Tanya Niruha is one of her best performance to date. This is why I can't get myself to watch Season 2 even though I have been waiting for it for 4 years.

I thought she did amazing in arthdal also, the whole drama is something new and different and her role was great. Wouldve been nice to see her continue to be Tanya in season 2. Tanya and eunsom had a great ending in season 2

the thing is she was never a nugu actress, shes extremely well known in korea after playing the antagonist in heirs and then descendants of the sun where she invented the second lead syndrome (writer kim eun sook loves her, she got her to do a cameo in mr sunshine) she was already considered a hallyu star just with those supporting roles, especially in china where her weibo page earned 1m followers within just 4 months. then came her leading roles which were equally as successful and showed her versatility. i do think her past agencies never handled her well, they never took advantage of her hype like no fan-meets whatsoever. and yet she maintained a pretty loyal fanbase (before queen of tears she already had 8m followers on insta and she only ever uploads 4-6 times in a year lmao) and the general public always anticipates her next work. she has no scandals and she keeps her personal life private.... her works are the only thing that truly speak for her.. what a talented and unbothered queen. i think her new agency right now is handling her well, giving her the right level of exposure she deserves.
She's sich a versatile actress. Ive seen all her works & been a great fan.... always wanted her to get the fame, love & recognition she deserves. And now is her time 👑✨
