    • I knew for a long time that this was going to eventually happen, because sharps reactions are lightning fast and skip could not hang with you. So I knew that eventually Skip was going to blow up because he felt like he was getting manhandled. But it’s just because sharp is better at the job than skip is.

He degraded max constantly and clowned him when he had guests on like Marcus spears and Perkins and even allen iverson when he tried to embarrass him for using hip hop references. Honestly I don’t blame Stephen a for the changes but it’s hilarious that he acts like max did nothing. The run they had from 2018-2019 was the best sports debate show I’ve ever seen, better than skip and Shannon or skip and SAS that phase was amazing

Everyone that is a real human being 😂 deserves respect, I don’t care about personality, color, and any of the differences we all have, but if you disrespect me and my difference, that’s where I draw the line with you and deal with you accordingly. So to me disrespect is disregard for what or who is different from a consensus or standard, which I care nothing about status quo’s! No one’s fingerprint is the same for example, we all bare some unique differences, respect it and keep it moving.

Shannon knew nothing good would’ve come from putting his hands on Skip. Shannon wanted to reconcile with Skip and Skip was making moves against him. Shannon said the Damar Hamlin situation reminded him of his brother’s injury and he needed a mental health day. It was more than just a disagreement with Skip’s tweet.

    • The problem with this situation and in Shannon's own words, is that he did not stand up for himself. Skip, at least in this point in his career, is a performance artist. Skip isn't there to coddle Shannon's feelings, and this is the world that Shannon is now in. Now, not to say that obviously Shannon shouldn't be considered, but if Shannon doesn't speak up for himself (Due to lack of experience, or fear, or whatever else) Skip's going to keep pressing because that's in his nature, that's how his show has always been, that's how he's always been. See, the difference between Stephen A. Smith and Shannon, is that Shannon's an emotional person. Stephen A. Smith has been in the business, he understands how it works, he understands what goes on, and he understands the emotions required to deal with it. Shannon clearly wasn't there at that point. And you can hear it in Shannon's voice. Skip is probably the type of person that does his work, and then washes it off and goes home and lives a normal life, however there are also people like Shannon who take those things to heart, and can't let go of them.

He likely was on good terms with other people involved, and he wouldn't want it to appear that he himself made public any details that were expected to remain private. Stephen A. • It did. Not sure if u saw sas podcast live, but when he asked shannon the questions and played the video ,u could kinda see shannon didn't wanna relive that moment but kept his composure. In fact he admitted it hurt him. Sas interview with him was so good. You could see the true journalism in sas..he even said before shannon started he wanted shannon to outshine him..
