  • I have looked into the rear seat frame like that because I like the look and it's very expensive. It's almost $1,100. I think I will try my best to just build my own. I want to be different from everyone else that has a ruckus or a ruckus clone.

    @ManuelGutierrez-be1ci@ManuelGutierrez-be1ci7 ай бұрын
    • Yes it cost me closer to $900 to make. The frame was $111 then the fab time was like 600, seat was 150 and I didn’t have the gussets or frame caps like the trs one.

  • I’m getting my first ruckus in a few weeks and I’ll be the first to admit I know nothing about working on a bike. It’s coming from a friend who’s made a few mods already (Rev limiter and CVT installed) not that I really know what they do. I really would like to work on it to stretch it out and customize it to my liking, as right now it’s just looks like a black ruckus right out the shop. Would you have any recommendations on where to begin? Best ways to learn? First mods to do myself? Been really enjoying your videos these past couple of days! Keep up the good work 👍🏼

    @musicalclarity6574@musicalclarity6574 Жыл бұрын
    • I’d suggest to keep it 49cc platform to keep things easier. I wouldn’t go fatty wheel setup in the rear as the wheels are in a shortage currently. There are a ton aesthetics you can do that bolt right on that clean it up and really make it yours. Check out the ruck shops website and you’ll be in candy land with all the parts.

  • out of all the people i fallow and watch like rolling wrench and dorby works to me you have the best builds in my opinion, because rolling wrench has like a basic nerdy ruckus look in the style he builds them ....all tho i like his mechanical parts to make the ruckus function good tho, and as for dorby works his ruckus looks are ok but to me they are super cheesy always to much LEDs and like for a teenager fast and furious look and those looks to me look so kidish like and cheesy but your style looks old school cool type that i am much more into, not cheesy flashy to much led and not a nerdy mirrors all the way on the top type of thing.

  • Stock starter or high torque? If so what brand? And what battery you running?

    @chrisrosanio9459@chrisrosanio94593 ай бұрын
    • Stock starter. No need to have a high torque starter for 171cc. The battery is a mmg featherweight from trs.

      @burnoutbobby@burnoutbobby3 ай бұрын
    • @@burnoutbobby hmm damn okay, I’ve heard different things. I have the “101 octane high torque starter” from steady garage, was running a 200cca Mightymax battery but due to the higher compression I assume it’s been frying the batteries. Have that Shorai battery from TRS coming Tuesday so hoping the cranking amps from that one will be enough to turn over the motor easier.

      @chrisrosanio9459@chrisrosanio94593 ай бұрын
    • What motor is it? Yeah usually you don’t need it if you have a stock throw crank. You maybe increase compression a little but nothing crazy with 171. When you get to a strocter crank is when they come in handy. Everyone will say what they want with what you need and don’t need. I just say I been doing this every day for a career for 13 years so there’s some experience there haha. Be careful what you hear on those fb pages.

      @burnoutbobby@burnoutbobby3 ай бұрын
    • @@burnoutbobby got the motor from TRS, ncy big bore with stock cam, just doesn’t seem like the battery has enough juice to crank it. Already added another base gasket too to try to help but didn’t seem to do much, maybe a tiny bit. Upgraded thicker gauge wires from battery all the way back to starter and some to frame. Not sure if adding more grounds would help at all. Just need to stop frying batteries haha! The mightymax didn’t say what amp hour the battery was, but it definitely wasn’t enough to crank it over time after time right away.

      @chrisrosanio9459@chrisrosanio94593 ай бұрын
    • I have the new rolling wrench EFI system so that probably doesn’t help with the draw on the battery when cranking, just hope it’s only a battery issue and not because of the compression or whatever being too much for the battery to work on
