Suleiman falls into silence after he decides that Mustafa will be executed. Mustafa gets a call from the military camp with Suleiman's order. Hürrem gets worried about Suleiman's behaviors and understands this is the end for Mustafa. Musafa doesn't want to believe that his father will kill him. Cihangir wants his father to promise to not to kill Mustafa. Sparrowhawk and Yahya of Taşlıca plans a revold behind Mustafa's back. Sparrowhawk realizes the betrayal at the last moment and meets the death. And Mustafa walks in to the marquee.
Suleiman has made his decision!
Suleiman falls into silence of the decision he has made. Hürrem gets worried the way he behaves. Cihangir and Bayezid tries to convince Suleiman that Mustafa has been trapped. However, Suleiman has made up his mind.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

The make-up artists did a fantastic job giving Suleiman that Ivan the Terrible look.
These Janissaries had the right intention, wanting to save their beloved Şehzade from certain death. It's just their leaders that ruined everything and made Mustafa more of a threat than he needed to be.

Yes, but when I really think about it, I get frustrated with Atmaca. If he had just let the old sultan die and not told Mustafa about the assassination plan, the evil old sultan would have already kicked the bucket, and Mustafa would have already ascended the throne.

I think Mustafa was not oblivious to the fact that the invitation from the Sultan, his father, was almost certainly a death sentence. I think he knew that and accepted it before everyone else, hence his letter in that case berating the Ferman and his condemnation He just couldn’t bring himself to raise his sword against his father, preferring to die rather than leading an armed rebellion against him Quite tragic
He had faith in his father. But, he was not blind to the possibility of being murdered. In that case, he didn't want to live. He did not want to live in such an evil world.
