Yacht Description:
"Bilgin Yacht has currently built three units of the 80-metre Bilgin 263 series. The second unit of the series, Leona celebrated her launch in October, 2022. Bilgin Yachts partnered with Antalya-based Unique Yacht Design for naval architecture and exterior design, and H2 Yacht Design for the interior living areas. Leona offers her guests exclusive and large spaces.
Jonny Horsfield of H2 Yacht Design states that “Leona is different in many ways to her sistership Tatiana. Although the general layout is essentially identical and the yachts offer accommodation for up to 10 guests, Leona has more emphasis on space with cabin numbers being reduced in order to provide larger accommodation. On the main deck, Tatiana’s four guest cabin-layout has been replaced with two generous VIP cabins with his and her dressing rooms and bathrooms, while on the lower deck there are two cabins instead of three and this layout creates space for additional storage, a larger area for a movie theater, a gym and a sauna. The owner’s deck sees the biggest change with the superstructure extending aft providing a palatial owner’s suite. Not to mention that a private lounge area is on the forward deck with an access to the owner’s exterior pool. Emrecan Özgün, the founder of Unique Yacht Design, finds this part of the yacht especially sexy and sleek and he describes it as following: “In terms of exterior lines I really love the front deck because it reminds of a real bullet when seen from above."

  • One of the most detailed and craziest yachts we have ever toured! The full tour was well over an hour but we shortened the edit to make it easier for all of you to watch :) Let me know your thoughts on the yacht!

    • While I agree that from a style point of view it is way too much and over the top, you can't argue with the attention to detail and craftsmanship. That is absolutely impressive. It isn't for me in the slightest, but I can appreciate the work of art that the craftsmen produced here.

    • Yep, the ship is astonishing (a marvel of engineering) but the decoration could give you sickness all by itself, not even needing any movement. Too much of everything or anything, and it kills completely the luxurious feeling that you should have. The perfect example of how not to use your money, but I'm completely sure it has it's clients, and as long as they like that, then I guess they are happy. At least I hope.

      @YannR34@YannR3418 күн бұрын
    • @@YannR34 I'm 99% sure this is owner specification. Their previous model was a lot more muted in comparison and ships of this size do not get built without a client who then heavily customises it to their liking. So what you see in terms of decoration is likely not what the builder considered tasteful, it is what the client requested. So you are right: it (at least) has one client that likes it :)

  • I know Enes said he couldn't disclose the price, but a recent article by Metro UK disclosed that it costs $60 Million dollars. Also according to the article, the mystery billionaire client didn't react positively to their originally understated design and told the yacht designers to 'be bold and turn up the volume.' Quite an understatement for how it turned out! Looks like Midas himself would be comfortable sailing in that thing.

Gold-plated everything just makes it look immensely tacky, but it's the sort of thing you see in a huge proportion of the boats, planes, penthouses etc. aimed at the super-rich. • Nice boat. I really like you showing the utility areas of the yacht as well. I know these videos are typically meant for advertising and marketing for the sale of the boat and those interested in a purchase are likely not interested in what happens below decks. But for the other 99.999999 percent of your viewers, it's very interesting to see the mechanical engineering and what sort of crew quarters there might be. The people and machines that make the ship go are as interesting as all the flashy fancy stuff. Please show more of the utility and staff areas of the yachts and homes you tour as that is quite interesting for most of us I would imagine.

I also am about to write a novel but I would be remiss not to thank you and your whole team for creating some of the most well-produced and entertaining content on this platform. Enes you speak with effortless clarity and intrigue! Also you're always so well dressed, so conversational yet informational. BIG shoutout to the cameramen. Y'all are on. point. Consistently shooting these homes with attention to detail and really beautiful shots (and sick ass drone footage!!) And to top it off,, they're all funny and always have meaningful insight. And finally, thank you to the editors. Video after video, you're killing it. It all comes together so cohesively. Zero complaints. The audio is tight. This whole team deserves a lot of love, and I'm so hype to continue supporting this channel. Peace ✌🏻

  • The red hull finish on the outside is novel and eye-catching of course. But I’m not keen on the interior…just too much high-polish brass (it isn’t bronze) everywhere! Looks a wee bit chintzy, like a Vegas casino. I do like the clean technical chic of the engine room though. And I actually prefer the crew quarters over the passenger area of this yacht.

I did truly love the areas that brought the blues in in the stone/decor and then that purple was a surprise. You would find me at the Bridge Deck Aft, Sky Lounge and Owner's Suite. lol Enes you must have been absolutely exhausted after giving all the details on this one. These types of tours really prove your expertise with your presentation skills which in our opinion cannot be beat. Nice to have Dal back on the main camera and to hear his voice. Well done to him, Erman & Jaysoon on the stunning filming. Those drone shots and the night time footage is what first kept me coming back to your channel. Not sure about other viewers but my view is never struggle to shorten them since You Tube videos are our tv watching these days so an hour video is perfect plus with the times listed it's so easy to go to what you want to see. Don't know how that effects your YT views though. Massive thanks for including in the tour the engine room, Tech Room, crew quarters and the Wheel House. • 1. I agree with others - I REALLY appreciate you showing the inner workings of the yacht, especially one this massive. While I'm not into the engineering and related aspects, I can imagine others are so thank you for including for those of us who want to see the working areas. As a foodie and cook I was super impressed with the galley. Not that it was overly large, I've seen bigger on tours of giant yachts like this, but it was well designed, professional grade, and had great flow. The staging area in front of the galley is essential so that wait staff and butlers can do their thing without stepping in and around chefs working. The access down to crew quarters (and I'm assuming there's cold/frozen (maybe even dry) storage down below) helps keep things flowing as well. Very common sense design that shows that the builder (and possibly owner) understand what it takes to make things work as easily as possible for the crew. 2. I have to disagree with the few comments that the design is tacky/gaudy. I am the first person to look at a home, yacht, hotel, casino, etc. and say "yuck, this is gaudy and the creator/owner/builder has no taste". I understand why some people would think it is, it definitely has a different vibe/feel than yachts that would cater to American and some European tastes and there is a LOT going on in terms of the variety of patterns, materials, colors, etc. being used. HOWEVER, I would point out that so many Americans are used to plain, bland, cookie-cutter style in our homes, offices, buildings, etc, it's been culturally beaten into to many poor souls from 1900's WASP culture that style, color, etc. is "bad", "lavish", etc. Furthermore I would argue that it does not seem gaudy or over the top to me because of how much detail seemingly went into blending everything together. Yes, even in a single room like the owner's bedroom there's a ton of colors, materials, patterns, but I did not see a single room from the bathrooms on each level, to the lounge areas, to the beach club, to the suites, where anything clashed - not a single color, pattern, fabric, material. The interior designer and owner made great choices and seamlessly blended everything together. Lastly I would point out that there's no gaudy statues, ugly furniture, pointless paintings or other pieces of artwork, etc. Everything, besides the colors and mosaics, is subtle, subdued, and tasteful. 3. I cannot overstate how impressed I am with the details as well as the design choices. I won't waste space pointing out the details as you did such a fabulous job pointing them out in every room throughout the tour, as you always do! But I'm super impressed by the ship's design. First, their choice of themes is impressive. Moroccan hookah lounge area in the beach club, the mosaics and other wall treatments in the bathrooms, stuff like that is striking and shows bold and creative thinking. But I'm even more impressed by the layout. Not every big yachy I've seen has a movie theater. That's a great choice and use of minimal space so that while you have plenty of TVs throughout the ship, you can have that place where on stormy days, or when the kiddos need to chill, or a couple wants a little romance, etc. you can have that without taking up or having to blackout a salon or lounge area. The flipped dining room and salon on the main level also struck me as a greate choice. I've seen hundreds of yacht tours online and it's VERY rare, especially on big yachts, to walk in from the outside and hit the dining room rather than the main salon. I think for a yacht this size it's a great choice...the salon, day or night, can be a quiet place for a nap, adult conversation, cocktails, reading, etc. and avoid the noise of the outdoors and when there's a formal meal going on you get the much better view from the area closest to the outside. Additionally, I love how they used the bow for storage of the boats, jet skis, etc. On so many giant yachts the bow area, especially one as big as this one, is often wasted - saved either for helicopters only, or just the anchorage, etc. Here you can use it to play during the day, and if you're hosting a gathering in the evening, or just the 10 passengers, you can enjoy it as a dance floor or other entertainment area at night. Last point for today's video - I LOVE the use of the entire upper deck for the owner's salon. With a yacht this size you already have plenty of outdoor space - three levels in the back, the bow in the front, if you're hosting a party or function there's plenty of space for guests to enjoy the outdoors. But imagine you're the owner, or spouse, and being able to slip away from a function, or just your noisy family enjoying the hot tub on the aft, and getting away to your own oasis - whether that's to sleep, sit on your own balcony, or swim in your own hot tub. Given the abundance of outdoor space already I think it's a fabulous choice not to just go with the standard design of have ANOTHER outdoor space for the sake of it and if you own a yacht like this you can enjoy the best views yourself while also getting the privacy that comes with having the highest elevation. Another great tour!

It's not easy coming up with descriptions and dialogue which don't quickly become tedious or repetitive. (in one video let alone a whole channel) Enes, you are a master at your craft. I don't know how you prep for each location but your retention for facts and details is so impressive. Not only that, but your ability to delivery these thoughtful, precisely mapped out tours with such informative, engaging, fluid commentary is astounding.
