The ocean can be dangerous. And it often is. And there are some places where such dangers abound the most.
Today, you're going to find out:
Why are the most beautiful places on the planet also the most deadly?
How did one diver accidentally film his own death underwater?
On what beach in the U.S. you will for sure find yourself a couple of feet away from a shark without knowing it?
And why has the Cape of Good Hope deprived thousands of sailors of... their last hope?

    • @@nathonrusso1557 HalleluYAH! Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, my savior and redeemer! All praises to The Most High God (Yahweh), Creator of all things. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. A fool has said in his heart that there is no God. But as for me and my house, we shall praise the Lord! HalleluYAH! 🫶🏾🙌🏾 Every knee shall bow & every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. It may seem funny to you to try to mock me for my faith. The greatest lie Satan ever told was that God is not real and there’s no such thing as a devil. But he knows the truth and even he shall bow. He doesn’t want you to receive God’s gift for you which is salvation. He doesn’t want you to repent for your sins, get to know Jesus, be filled with the Holy Spirit because he wants to drag your soul into hell with him. But even you, God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him, confess their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, shall not die but have everlasting life.

  • I very recently underwent training to earn my entry level dive license (PADI OW). The one thing they constantly drill into you is "always dive within your limits", which I'll briefly parrot here: Always, always dive within your limits, whether it's that of your equipment, your training, or your comfort. Do so, and your training will keep you safe with a large margin; disregard it, and you run the risk of unrecoverably getting into dangerous situations which are often not obvious. If you want to extend your limits, get specialty training.

    • Right! I got PADI certified and loved diving- until I reached a depth where my sinuses hurt (apparently, I have issues🤣), so it’s an involuntary “stop”- but nonetheless, it stops me. So, I’m back snorkeling. You have to listen to everything around you. Good point!

    • I dove without license first 5 times in Thailand and back then I swore it didn’t matter. But now that I’m older I strongly suggest you get formal training and education. Especially on what depth pressure does to the body and more importantly the mind. Also if you can’t handle stress in a calm manner please don’t go passed a recreational dept.

      @fidelcashflow7057@fidelcashflow7057Ай бұрын
    • @@fidelcashflow7057 It's the shallow depth and geography of the area that actually makes the normal sea more dangerous, and I'm not just talking about the north sea. There are multiple other places not mentioned here that are very notorious for being dangerous and probably more than what was covered in this video. Areas that sink a much higher percentage of the ships that pass than the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans and kill a lot more people. Areas that I think should have been on this list instead of so many sinkholes.

  • I think the surfer vs diver bite chances are wrong. Its perceptive based on conditions. For example..sharks are more so in the middle levels of the ocean less often than the surface. If its a day where a shark is skimming the surface, the surfer is in more danger..but if swimming through the lower levels, the diver is in trouble. Scientist need to chill on their speculations and stick to facts. Those numbers are speculative and can not be computed
