it looks like Tachanka, when sprinting with his LMG out has the same animation as Warden sprinting with his Shotgun out.
When warden runs with the shotgun in hand, it looks like he might stumble and fall... Tachanka doesn't looks that bad.. anyways its hard to run with the gun when its mag is a giant frisbee...😂

Intrestingly enough, in Goyo's bio, he mentioned something about anti-fire grenades. Don't know if they would actually make it into a new secondary gadget. Would be cool tho.
It should extinguisher grenades that just spin and disperse the powder in a similar size area.
Possibly even preventing fire from being placed there during the dispersal.

The grenades should explode after spending a certain period of time in mid-air to stop people from spawnpeeking with it
then do the fire particles fall down or float in place if they just detonate mid air with no object to detonate on
Kind of like impact grenades but after the fuze explodes the fire falls to the ground.
Even if you spawnpeek with them it's not viable, and no one should be doing it, and if you do it's useless.
I have already seen some Jager himself clips that are actually busted. For example, you can shoot a grenade from logistics hatch to cc wall to hurt a therm or mav on clubhouse.
If they do that they would have to make sure that it goes off within 2 seconds or less or no fire spawns what so ever, otherwise it would probably be even easier to spawn peaks with it due to the shorter firing arc making it easier to reach closer spawns as a example alleyway on bank because the current arc is to bug you shoot too far but with a mid air explosion creating fire it would probably go directly onto the attackers.

This grenade launcher is actually a real thing, it's real life variant is called the Kulakov automatic grenade launcher. Now it doesn't actually fire semi-auto in real life and that's just for game balance, but yeah, it's pretty cool.
YEah, that came in my mind too when I first saw his gadget. Basically every rifle grenade launcher in ww2 have a special attachable muzzle to hold the grenade. The rifleman load in an empty-bullet catridge. Then the grenade is fired away by the blast of this cartridge. Depends on the gun, like m1 garand can fire multiple shot since it's semi auto, others have to pull the bolt back in order to fire the next shot. This new gadget of tachanka is a late-war prototype of Soviet Red army. It can hold multiple grenades but I don't think it can fired semi auto.
Thats definitely not a Mosin Nagant. Mosin's have the bolt inside of the upper receiver, the Grenade Launcher's bolt is sticking out at the end.
Nerving the lmg because it’s strong and fun isn’t a good idea at all The gun already has so many counters to itself it has it bad enough Slow rpm, slow aiming time, slow reload, it’s slow to get the weapon up after running If anything the lmg needs a buff in one of these areas
I'd just give it a damage buff and call it a day, make it a consistent two shot kill.
@@Jayzgrouse that wouldn't make any sense. Damage should not touched in any way, as we are talking of a gun which is plenty of ammo. Rpm or aim speed should be fixed, as written above.
@@henryjekyll8191 Ubisoft has made a point to keep guns at their counterpart's fire rate, that's why the AA-12 still has a 300 rpm so more than likely the fire rate of the lmg will never be buffed.

I'd just give it an extra mag so you can use more of its utility aspect without running out of ammo during actual firefights.

4:51 depending on the caliber, in this case, Lord Chanka's DP-27 fires in 7.62x54mmR, it's a full power rifle cartridge that can potentially penetrate anything unlike intermediate cartridges like 5.56x45mm.

i mained tachanka boy way before this was even a thing and now i can main him even MORE hell yeah
If I remember right, the DP28 fires 7.62x54R, which is the same round the Ots-03/SVU fires, so it should have about the same penetration. Only thing that would make them different that I can think of at the moment would be barrel length, as the one with the longer barrel would have the round exit at a higher speed.
Fuze's 6P41, a.k.a the bullpup PKP also fires in the same caliber as The Lord's DP-28 and Glaz's SVU. As for what you said that it should have the same amount of penetration, I presume that Tachanka has an Armor-Piercing ammo type on his 7.62x54R, I would say the same with Glaz for his SVU. I ruled out your barrel length theory because Fuze's PKP would've penetrate even more than Tachanka's DP-28 because the PKP has a longer 25.9" of barrel length compared to DP-28's 23.8, which in reality the former penetrates less than the latter.
A good way to counteract the spawn point grenade thing would to make it explode in the air after a certain time point

In cafe dostoevsky, can you try to fire tachanka fire grenade from 3rd floor new balcony hatch to the wall outside of small bakery where people always rappel to get to the roof of cafe? Just to see the effect of fire drop it has on people rappeling, is it going to just go down to the ground and ignore the person rappeling or is the person going to take damage. It would've make a good trick to counter people rappeling.

Extinguisher grenades would actually be interesting. We have the model for them too on Goyo.the little green canisters he has, according to his bio, are supposed to extinguish fire.
Does the damage stack with Goyos or capitaos fire or smokes gas?
It would be interesting to see the timing difference between Smoke and Tachanka going from main weapon to active gadget. Because if you want to play as an anchor for late game area denial right now Tachanka just seems way more powerful. Smoke has the slight bonus for denying vision as well, but the drawback that he only has three canisters, which can be destroyed either by being shot or a bad throw landing on an electrified surface.
I like how coreross is only yt guy not overreacting and calling the incendiary launcher op while it is not so strong. blocking one entrance for 50seconds is possible but ppl can rush through and just take some dmg and kill chanky while he has launcher in hands
I agree it isn't op at all, I mean yeah you can shoot it into spawn-points but I doubt people will actually sit there long enough to die, also 50 secs of denial isn't bad when the nades don't even last that long
Y'all dumb. It blocks a doorway for 50 seconds and if you run through it then there's someone holding it and you get shot. What are you going to do against that? Ads? Well now you're stuck in the fire. Keep running? Now you've been shot. It's stupid that he has 10
I don’t think it is op but it needs a bit of a nerf because he is smoke with plant denial and area denial except he bounce off of objects so basically he bounce it into an area without exposing himself where with smoke smoke has a chance to be shot

Here is a thought. Tachanka should be able to ignite smokes fire increasing its dmg and making the fire temporarily airborne. This could also increase the fires range
I just thought of a great Tachanka play. On bank, block off the only exit to the alley spawn with his incendiary grenades and then spam more incendiary rounds into that spawn, there are a lot of places where you can shoot your grenades from into that spawn, this would either kill some people or do a lot of damage because of how small that spawn is.

Have any of you considered that you might be able to counter Tachanka by breaking open all the floor? With the fire falling it may fall between the floor beams or the nade itself might just fall between the beams making it so it does litterally nothing to you because he would be setting downstairs on fire instead
And how do you plan on breaking ALL the floors? And some floors are unbreakable, and he's mobile so he can just not fire that spot.
@@mysteryman.2985 There isn't that much viable spots for the flames to land, also you don't need to break all the floor just put a hole in it so the nade will fall, so just play Buck Also kinda stateing the obvious that you can't break an unbreakable floor my dude Also not sure what you mean by him being mobile, he has legs yes, all operators have legs dude, it's kind of a running theme throughout the game that operators use their legs to move around
@Handsome Nigward It's pretty obvious where it's coming from his not stealthy dude and moving to another area is either him pushing up and dying or doing the exact same thing but in a slightly different spot The holes in general aren't a perfect strat just because I'm rather confident you can counterplay it using the bounce mechanic but it can force him to have to move giving you an advantage if you're forcing him to move from a safe spot to a less safe spot

The lmg used in the test servers is the dp27 and not dp28 so i thin gthat might have something to do with the full bullet penetration
Are the fire-nades shootable? Seeing as how smoke is a similar area denial op, and his beauties are shootable. I would be curious if you can shoot a fire-grenade out of the air.
Goyo Tachanka fire pool damage stack? then +smoke and for giggles add a fire bolt
at 1:09 you can see when he is loading the grenades the the bolt that he cocks back and forth only does it 1 time then the rest its bugged out and it's just stuck and his hand goes right through it.
As for the grenades being a problem for the attackers spawning in. An alternative is to just reduce the range that you can fire it.
They can maybe borrow smoke and molly interactions from csgo. In CS incendiaries get extinguished by smoke grenades, and since in siege only attackers get smokes it would address tachanka and goyo spam without touching capitao.

*since everyone is complaining* a way to "limit" or "nerf" the nade launcher is to force chanka to rechamber every shot since the back half is based on a bolt-action rifle, therefore allowing short periods of time to relocate or run and no spamming
But that would make the gadget completely useless because you can just run through a single patch of fire without much damage. You NEED to fire of several of these things to spread the fire far enough for it to even be a deterent. If you need to reload after each one you can just delete the gadget altogether because then just giving supressive fire with the LMG would be more effective than using the grenades.
People don’t know but... Tachanka’s grenade Launcher is a real thing it’s called the kulakov Grenade launcher it was made during the early Soviet era

The fuse for the grenades only start after it hits a surface you could shoot it in the air straight up and it wouldn't explode until it hit the ground again

If someone somehow manages to figure an exact spot where people will be if they rush, they could put 2 or 3 fire there spread out and do a lot of damage if not kill them i think.

Capitao's smoke bolt should now have a initial fire extinguishing property... You can extinguish any fire(his own fire too) if you shoot smoke on it.. the inverse however shouldn't be possible..
If that was the case i think the smoke should get smaller for every fire it extinguishings.They also would have to allow smokes bap to do it too.
@@geegoflex6762 smoke is already a great op dude... And the capitao smoke will only work if the bolt is fired on the fire... It wont extinguish a fire if the fire is deployed after the smoke.. i hope you understand what i mean.. cant find better words..lol
