Anthony Edwards is a real dog. No dad in his life. Mom and grandma raised him but both died when he was in elementary school. When he got drafted, he was surrounded by photos of his mom and grandma. He plays the game like it’s his last day of ever getting to play. He has that heart, skill and talent. When you have all 3, you can truly be a generational special player.

The Weakest era in the East was probably 2000-2003. The East was winning championships in the late 2000s and going to game 7s in the finals.

Suns were supposed to be a top 3 seed where Minnesota got to be. This is only the beginning from Ant. He might win a ring in only his 4th season, same as Kobe. DWade won a ring in his 3rd season. Tim Connelly is the GM of the decade. Denver and Minnesota are built big and for the next 5+ years. Developed homegrown superstars.

Ant is the future. Unlike a lot of the stars on other teams, Ant actually has a post up game where he can go and maximize all parts of the floor. He can shoot 3s, he can body you and drive to the paint and when he needs to slow things down and let the game come to him. He can post you up and score or find other open team mates.
I think the scary thing about Ant is that it seems like he's not even at his peak yet. If he is this good now, how good is he going to be when he reaches his peak?
