This is a unique compilation of music that by its own rhythm initiates a step into yoga, ‘Yoga Padhi.’ The music was created with the sole purpose of setting an atmosphere most conducive to receive the offerings of Isha Yoga. The instrumental vibrations that resound from the melodious melange of flute, guitar, sitar, veena, gatam and tribal drums instill a sense of dynamic peace that naturally eases the listener into a meditative state. ‘Yoga Padhi’ has already enchanted thousands of people around the world during Isha Yoga programs. Available for the very first time to a wide spectrum of listeners, the melodies convey joy and tranquility, creating a receptivity that will bring you a step closer to the Silence within.

  • Three years ago I was in France for a 4 months internship. I had to bike 10km from my dorm to the college. The bike trail was very scenic beside the magnificant Alpes and woods. I used to listen to this song and other ones from Isha music. It was very heavenly. I still remember and miss those days.

  • I play this music everyday after I wake up and do my chores with this music in the background. I do not speak to anyone the first few hours after I wake up and listening to this music in the first 15 mins after waking up in that just awake state of mind when everything is calm and still.. This music is pure therapy to the soul!

  • I am not from India but chose India to do my degree Indian Classical music. The 3 years I was in India was probably the best of my golden years! Everything you need to experience as a human is all in one country! It teaches you, compassion, wisdom etc etc through its rich culture!! From South to East North to West....you learn every step of the way.. I have travelled to various countries but I must say India shaped me up!

Yes having soldiers that protect their family and nation from invaders is a great virtue. But lets be honest most wars are because of equel greed between two groups.

The instructors voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to. I am easily able to sit successfully through the entire CD, and for quite some time after. • After having gone thru the Inner Engineering program with Sadhguru himself, this song in particular always seems to brings tears of joy to my eyes whenever I listen. I'm not the type to cry much, yet listening to this for one minute makes me bawl with joy and compassion and instantly drop all of my self-created suffering. One time I listened to this while sick and strangely felt not sick and much more alive after the 19:10 minutes. Thank you Sounds of Isha for this beautiful and magical music.

  • It is the sound of such music that gives humanity meaning, without which life would be meaningless. Such Instruments as the sarod and sitar, whose transcendental sounds were first heard by Rishis of old while in deep meditation, were engineered into beautiful manifestations for the enlightenment and profound enjoyment of all who would listen.
