My best friend who loves DMC has stopped talking to me for 4 months once because I told him I actually enjoy DMC2. It was the biggest overreaction I have ever experienced, and I uninstalled Fallen Order after finding out it was connected to the sequel trilogy. This and a few other interactions have made me stay away from any type of fanbase of anything. I don't mind the casual crowd as they love games as much as we do. They're just not as hardcore like we are. DMC, Megaman, Resident Evil, and Ninja Gaiden made hard games fun for us. It's always fantastic to meet a kindered spirit that doesn't heel to popular opinions.

I am among the few who loves DMC 2, despite all the flack it gets. And I love playing as Trish. However, screw the Tateobesu fight, really, especially on LMD mode! Idk any reliable strategy other than throwing the Sparda around with Chrono Heart and Infinite DT on.
I didn't get the chance to play Trish, but that does sound like a pain. I commend you for liking Devil May Cry 2 because I could not
@@Jetstream-Shadow you have to complete Hard mode with Dante in order to unlock Trish. Yeah Tateobesu is a nightmare. I can confidently say it's the worst DMC boss ever. On Normal and Hard, I guess it can be still okay, he won't give you nightmares at least. But on LMD it stays invisible the whole time, you can't lock-on, and your moves are severely limited due to being an underwater fight. Really don't get why people complain about the Infested Chopper. I mean, at least you can still inflict some form of damage to it. Mostly by shooting, or you can throw a Round Trip to it with Trish. Or do some air combos when it's within range. My point is, you can still do some things here. With Tateoubesu you can't do anything other than swim up top and throw Cranky Bombs below, hoping the boss runs into them. Seriously annoying. Tateobesu is single-handedly the reason why I prefer playing Trish on Dante's disc.

It's no Sonic '06, but people still treat it like it killed their grandma. It's not the worst game I've played, but despite it being bad, I can still have some fun with it (especially with the Definitive Edition mods)

Ya, I was getting that feeling too, but overall, it just wasn't for me
But that's why I love it, though. The game is not great, but the awfulness is what captured my heart. It works for the most part, and I've played games that were worse. I've also played games that aren't much to look at on an Atari 2600. So it doesn't take much to amuse me.
Nah bro wait until you see devil may cry 4's antagonist because he's way way worse than arius and I do disagree with argosax being the worst antagonist, like at least he actually has a backstory and have rivalries with mundus💀💀(sorry my grammar is trash)
