Oh, I didn't know about this trick, heating up the knife before slicing the brownies. Maybe that's why they don't stick to the knife. There is always something new to learn from you. I will be making them today, I love recipes that use few ingredients, yet are so delectable :)

Love this recipe all I added was candied maple walnuts I made to the top of brownies then i cut them up into nice even pieces.

- I can't help you, I'm sorry, but I always use a kitchen scale and grams, not cup measurement. I also write the recipes in cups because I know that many of you don't use a kitchen scale.

Hi im new into baking. Im looking for a tutorial using a fan oven which is convection oven. I followed this recipe. I made this today. I feel like the brownies in this video was moist. Mine, its quite dry. Its more of the cakey side. Is it because of the fan? I used top and bottom heat. 16mins mark time. What seems to be the problem? 🤔☹️

- Hi Myx and welcome here! Consider that every oven works different, you'll learn to use your own oven in the best way with practice. If they turn out dry, maybe you baked for too much time, so bake them for less minutes. I usually keep the fan on when I bake browines because fan helps to get a bit dry and crispy top (for this reason I keep the fan on even when I bake cookies and pie or tart crust, but not when I bake sponge cakes/muffins), but the center stays soft and moist. Next time you could also try to turn off the fan, but no-fan oven need more minutes to bake. Unfortunatley you have to test, no one can know better your oven than you

- @@HowTasty ohhh okay. Maybe, Il just adjust the time for baking. Im really excited coz finally your channel uses fan oven. But apparently didnt work for me. Il try it again. When i tried making banana and cinnamon loafs, fan are open and top bottom heat, turns out moist and soft. But thank you. Il do it again

I'm going to make them in cupcake pans for Sunday so my coworkers can easily take some home. Is your nutella made with butter? Cuz I used a homemade nutella that I made with oil not butter and it didnt come well just like u like I didn't have the top layer ?
