Viktor did nothing excessive imo. This just shows how much this match means to him. It what makes that match so fun to watch. No non-sense, just two top athletes trading blows no holding back. Congrats to CTC. My man beats cancer and Axelsens!!

Yeah, axelsen needed to win his match if Denmark wanted to stand a chance here. Their doubles have always been weaker, and losing the first match is definitely not a morale booster lol

what a beast of a game that was from both Axelsen and CTC. That's an intensity that we haven't seen from both player in a while. Absolutely stunning and passionate performance from both player. Great to see CTC win that match and how Axelsen still display amazing sportmanship for his competitor. same goes for Lee/Wang... i've often said that they play with such tight margins that they end up making so many mistakes... not today. They were able to stay consistent and apply so much pressure on their opponents. This fast/drive type of gameplay works better against the Danes than the Chinese or Korean pairs. The Danes were not able to hold out today.

Very sad to see Denmark out and congrats Chinese Taipei. In my opinion the way both Axelsen and Antonsen play is too conservative and repetitive. Many may say that VA is not dominant anymore but we probably would know that until Paris Olympics.
