    • I went to High Shool Khaur for five years. I belong to a nearer village. Interestingly I am engaged to a girl from Khaur whose ancestors came from Kairana, Delhi. Tell Baba Jee that Khaur has changed so much. It has become a small town with a lot of prosperity and full of education. I am also available if Baba Jee wants to know more. I can also help him to track his old friends.

    • I'm from India I've found that you are a lady. So i feel secure to talk. Pakistan's national flag has green colour represent the world of islam under peace. And the white colure represent other minorities. I'm a Hindu. I also have many Muslim friends also have lunch in their houses. Positively i don't hate any of Muslim. Only hatred between India and Pakistan is about The lateral hatred of Religion. You think that we worship idols is actually not we also obey the real god have no face or idol we just symbolises by the religious right and you people don't but also have symbolises (Kaba Sharif) though Allah(Swt) have no face or idol. I know the kaba Sharif is not god but it's purity matters similarly we worship idols is not god but purity matters. See sea water is water and water of pond is also water. But the taste matters where as sweet and as salty. We are not islma similarly some of our rule same also some are different. If we are making sin and make the way towards hell we going into hell. It's okay but we all wanted to live in a peaceful world whether we are hindu or islam.we should respect one another and obey our own rules.   • 1992, I spent 90s in Sindh as dad was posted there, every year in summer, dad used to bring us to Peshawar our hometown, meeting cousins, PTV dramas, Train rides.. this song just reminds me childhood and school of 90s and early 200s

  • This song yields me an idea of my Naana and Naani's migration from India to Pakistan as well as my Naana's career as a CSP. My Naana Late Mr. Hasan Uz Zaman was born and brought up in Rajshahi (a town in North Bengal), whereas my Naani (Late Mrs. Sophia Zaman) was born and brought up in Calcutta, India. My Naana had studied at the Presidency College in Calcutta and then he appeared for the exam of Bengal Civil Service and did very well in that exam. After that, my Naana and Naani got married in Calcutta. During the partition of 1947, my Naana had to choose one between India and Pakistan. My Naana opted for Pakistan 🇵🇰.. In fact, my Naana was amongst the first, who had raised hands for Pakistan 🇵🇰. My Naana and Naani came from Calcutta, India 🇮🇳 to Rajshahi, East Pakistan 🇵🇰 by train. My Naani was so pretty, that the whole village came to see the beautiful bride (my Naani). During the early stage of my Naana's career, he used to get frequent transfers to small towns and villages. While he was in Dinajpur, North Bengal, East Pakistan 🇵🇰, he used to go to the office by riding on a bicycle. Because of my Naana's frequent transfers, my Naani sent her little daughter (my mother) to Calcutta, India, 🇮🇳 to her Nainihaal, so that my mother's studies don't get interrupted. My mother had studied from Nursery till Bachelor's in Calcutta. In the meantime, my Naana was transferred to Karachi, West Pakistan 🇵🇰 once. When my Naana and Naani started staying in Dhaka, my mother had migrated from Calcutta, India 🇮🇳 to Dhaka, East Pakistan 🇵🇰 in 1968 and joined Home Economics College in Dhaka in order to do her Masters. My mother had completed her Masters final exam somewhere between December 1970 and February 1971. From March 25, the operation searchlight has begun.

  • The partition hurt a lot of Indians and Pakistanis. A lot of death, suffering, tears and blood... a lot of good byes to loved ones to never see them again... a lot of leaving your home knowing someone else will call it home and not you. It was hard for Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims, Christians... Nobody was immune to the pain. I take hope from this song and video in that despite the troubles we face today, that if we have faith (whether it is in God when Muslims call him Allah or God when Hindus call him Vishnu or whether it is God in our own collective humanity), we can overcome all of those troubles. That with our faith, and our hard work, and us helping those who are near us regardless of whether they are related to us or not, we will find peace and happiness. The key is to always see us as we are. Not nations made up of people. But people who together make a nation. Thank you for this beautiful song, Haroon. Love, An Afghan from Afghanistan
