Honestly the best lighting upgrade I did was replacing the crappy reverse lights with a brighter led one. Made such a big difference!

Don't own an FJ but been binge watching your channel and it's one of my favorite channels to watch when I'm bored! My Dad had a 2009 sandstorm fj with the roof rack, dashboard gauges, sidesteps, bilstein shocks, and it had the 16 inch 5 spoke aluminum oem wheels

The biggest issue I have with my FJ are the mirrors in the winter. Does anyone know of an after market heated mirror replacement?

I put the Sylvania ZXE on a few years ago, 3 minute swap out highly recommend this headlight bulb replacement

I have the ARB deluxe wench bumper. The fog light suc. So straight to aftermarket. FJ Cruiser forever. Cruise on folks.
I’ve replaced all exterior lights with leds and it makes a world of difference. Mirror lights with amber bulbs are great. I started with led headlights and wasn’t happy with the stock housing light distribution so I replaced the housing with halo projector lights and really makes it unique. I’ve also added roof light bar, fog lights and grill lights with strobe capable in amber. Replacing the reverse back up and tail lights really helped as well. Hope dental school isn’t keeping you too busy so you can still get the FJ out for a little fun. I just finished 48 years of practice myself.

Any idea which taillights are on the red FJ at 12:37?
I believe that it’s a bit of an exaggeration to say the headlights of the FJ are inadequate. I often drive by night on mountain roads, sometimes with inclement weather and never had the sensation they weren’t good enough. However thank you so much, one of my brake bulbs burned out and I struggled to find a comprehensive list of bulbs to use as replacements. I agree that better reverse lights would be desirable, so I’ll probably swap those too. I will surely swap the interior dome and cargo lights that have burned long ago.
I want to install the roof dam lights but I cannot find the 6 pin harness that connect with the factory connector in the A-pillar… need help

(Awesome Reviews) Nilight 9inch 2pcs 96w Black Round Spot (ARB knockoff~not $650 each) So close I think they may have gotten in trouble for a near exact copy.

also put LED's in the mirrors Tip, dont put blue LED's. the PO PO really didnt like the blue lololol
True haha they don't appreciate red or blue lights, even if they are Christmas lights haha
