  • i have both model o and minus wireless, i got one of the first batches of the Minus wireless, it has a bit of connectivity issue when playing warzone. Sometimes i get a stutter or a lag from the mouse. which drives me crazy!! and makes me put the wire in at times. The regular O wireless, i also got one of their first batches, it was the same a bit laggy, over-time that mouse started to work flawless. But it was a bit too big for my hands, and the O Minus fits so perfect, just wish i could get the small connectivity issues out of the way.

    • I appreciate your rundown! Always love reading these types of comments. Where do you have the wireless dongle in comparison to the mouse? As they should be within 12 inches of each other for the best connection.

  • Hi whats the use of the white box you've touch around 2:15, I know you put the dongle there, but whats the use of it? Thank you. I just dont know whats the use of it, it doesnt say in user guide :3

    • Excellent question. It’s a USB-A to USB-C adapter. As the wireless dongle has a male USB-A port which makes it compatible with the most devices (as laptop/desktop usually have more USB-A ports than USB-C). While the female USB-C port is used on the mouse and dongle itself to charge and play with. Which is preferred as it is more universal that way limiting the cables you need. So the dongle itself bridges that gap so everything works as it should. Making it so we have the best of both worlds. BREAKDOWN: Male USB-C cord --> Female USB-C Dongle --> Female USB-A Dongle --> Male USB wireless dongle. Then to charge Mouse, remove male USB-C cord from Dongle and plug into the female USB-C port on the mouse.

  • Great review. I am thinking of getting a new mouse, with a hand size of (17.2cm x 9.3cm), is it better to get the model o minus wireless or viper mini? I would love to hear your opinion on this.

    @jeehoonkim5429@jeehoonkim54292 жыл бұрын
    • Hmmm... tough call. The biggest con with the Viper Mini is that some people report issues with the sensor. Mostly with lift off distance. Also, it doesn't sport as good of specs as a lot of other sensors. So the sensor on the Model O- Wireless is technically superior but will you actually notice a difference. I'm not sure. It is also wired and the paracord is alright. But people tend to absolutely LOVE the shape, size, and weight. The clicks feel fantastic and are the best of the Razer lineup. They are optical so they can't develop double clicks. Overall, a great mouse. The Model O- Wireless is more expensive. The shape is a bit hit or miss. Clicks feel amazing but are mechanical so can develop double clicks. With it being wireless means no cords. The cord it does come with is a paracord and is probably the best on the market. Also, a great mouse. So, really I don't think I can declare a winner as both are excellent and come down to personal preference. Personally, I prefer the Model O- Wireless as I don't like the sensor or cord on the Viper Mini. But love the rest of it. So find the Model O- Wireless has the whole package where the Viper MIni with it being wired and budget sensor has like 90% of it. If we are talking about pure specs the Model O- Wireless has better specs but also twice as expensive. I have been hearing rumors for sometime now that I would say are fact (as the Razer Reps on Reddit have pretty much confirmed it) that there will be a Razer Viper Mini Ultimate (meaning wireless with ideally premium specs like the Razer Viper Ultimate) coming out in Q1 or Q2 of this year (2022). But again haven't heard anything official so it is just educated guesses. I'd love to hear which one you went with and your opinions on it. I think if I were you and couldn't make a decision I may go to Best Buy or similar and buy the Viper Mini and try it out. If I didn't like it I would return it and buy the Model O- Wireless. As the Viper Mini is easier to try and return than the Model O - Wireless.

    • @@ThomasMuehler Firstly, thank you so much for such an elaborate answer, I appreciate it so much :) I have also heard of how great viper mini shape is compared to any mouse, is it like a smaller version of a Logitech g pro superlight? I have held a g pro before but not a viper mini. So it seems that viper mini ultimate will be the best in terms of shape, size and sensor, if it were to come out. Currently, in the country that I am living in, I do not have access to model o minus wireless so I think it would be best to wait until I do and I'll let you know as soon as I do so. Thanks again for such a great answer and have a great evening.

    • @@jeehoonkim5429 Not really like a smaller GPX. As it has a wholly unique shape. Where on the front half is rather flat and slightly declined where the back has a very dramatic hump that fits into your palm really nicely while being a bit thinner on the sides. It's been a while since I've tried it so I may be a bit off on the explanation as I'm pulling strictly from memory. But it does great for claw grip, if small hands palm, and suitable for fingertip. I see about the limited availability. Depending on how much expendable income you have and if the mouse you currently have sucks you could probably pick up the Viper Mini and try it out. Or wait for a sale because sometimes it gets super cheap. Like right now at Best Buy it is $28.99 compared to $39.99. Or wait for the possible release of the Viper Mini Ultimate.

    @zwoie7566@zwoie756611 ай бұрын
    • Honestly, I don't know. I'm not someone who focuses a lot on hand size so I just don't have a good basis to make an informed decision. With that said with how much smaller your hand is compared to mine it appears that it would be close. But again, I just don't know.

  • What's best the d- wireless or the o- wireless, I just can't seem to decide 😔

    @wisetone@wisetone2 жыл бұрын
    • Personally I had a lot of QA issues With my wired D minus which makes me concerned. I also was not a big fan of the shape. I find the QA on the model O - wireless and wired to be a lot better along with a lot better shape. So it’s an easy choice for me which would be the model o - wireless. But if you are looking for a more ergonomic shape. Especially for palm the d-. But if you use claw or fingertip the o-. I’d love to hear which one you decide to go with and your thoughts on it.

    • @@ThomasMuehler I just returned my model o wireless, because it had a problem with the scroll wheel you think, that wouldn't be a problem with the model o- wireless?

      @wisetone@wisetone2 жыл бұрын
    • @@wisetone Unfortunately, Glorious has some QA problems. Which is one of the reasons why I don’t hold them in high regard. With that said the Glorious Model O Wireless and the Model D- Wireless and Model O- Wireless have different specs. As they upgraded the internals in the Minus variants. Which theoretically should improve the QA (as they are superior parts). But you never know until you actually get one and use it. I just know from my experience the Model O- Wireless and Model O- Wired that I have both were flawless copies. Where my Model O Wireless and Model D- Wired both had QA issues. Now what I said about the Model O Wireless holds true about the Model D- Wired I had as well (as they have the same specs). So, I’d expect the Model D- Wireless to have less issues than the wired variant. But since you’ve already tried the Model O Wireless if you take that shape and make it smaller then you have the O-. So, if that sounds like something you’d like then you’ve got your answer. If not then the D-. Unfortunately, when you don’t know if the mouse you’ll get will be defective or not until you try. The odds are more in your favor that you’ll get a good one than a bad one. As that is why RMA’s and Returns exist. And if they had horrible QA where most of them were broken they wouldn’t continue to sell that product as it would bankrupt them.

  • is the Razer viper ultimate worth to get for both gaming and productivity

    @morle602@morle6022 жыл бұрын
    • Absolutely. I still think it is one of the best gaming mice on the market despite being one of the oldest. Every time I use either of mine despite trying a copious amounts of other mice I still can't believe how nice it is. It has crisp clicks that are incredibly fast and snappy. Ridiculously accurate sensor. Fantastic scroll wheel that has defined steps and easy to middle click. But shape can be hit or miss for people. Side buttons I don't have an issue with but some do. Great skates. Comes with a cool charging dock. There are some places it is starting to show its age. As the weight is on the "higher end" at 74 grams which is still pretty lightweight. Battery life compared to some of the newest and greatest isn't as good. But still great in my opinion, just not ridiculous. And I think those are the only two negatives compared to recently released mice.

Maybe bcs its shape are similar to my old xtrfy m42 or the VU but this one is smaller and lighter than my VU. I played really good pairing it with my steelseries qck edge mouse pad medium sized. But i fucked up with my mousepad choices, so today i bought a hyperx fury s pro large mousepad since i want a larger mousepad but it is just waaay too fast for me, i had to reduce my dpi from 1000 to 800 and had to reduce in game sensitivity as well, so it affected and fucked up my gameplay as well bcs im not well adjusted to the dpi/sensitivity changes. Soo i ended up selling my hyperx fury s pro mousepad and went back to using my ss qck edge mousepad bcs i just realised it is a control slightly heavy mousepad that made it suitable for fps games (at least for my experience) and im back to being good at valo/cs go again lol. I might gonna go and buy the large version of the ss qck edge today ^^

When you change something like that (especially, when you aren't used to changing things often) it can take a long time to acclimate and sometimes just going back to what you know is best. @jogre900@jogre90011 ай бұрын
    • @@jogre900 No, Viper V2 Pro is much better than the GPX from a performance standpoint. Okay, that's me laying it on a bit thick. But better wireless, better sensor, 4,000 Hz (with non-included dongle). Optical switches, etc. Also, the Viper V2 Pro is the mouse that everybody is trying to beat spec/performance wise right now so you get future proofing. We've caught up and some mice have started to beat the GPX in performance. But it continues to have one of the best shapes ever. And nobody does click feel like Logitech. But their internals are equal to about $90 - $100 mice now. The only reason why I'd recommend the GPX over the Viper V2 Pro is if you can't stand the Viper's shape or Clicks. As that along with coating is the only thing the GPX does better at this point. And if you're in the US $159 for the GPX or $150 for the Viper V2 Pro.
