Take an epic musical journey through the land of Hyrule with the Hero of Time! This medley is my tribute to the wonderful music and the spirit of adventure embodied in the Legend of Zelda series. The arrangement features some of my favorite melodies from “Ocarina of Time” performed on one of my own hand made ocarinas (which you can purchase through my website www.SpencerOcarina.com ). The music video was shot in many beautiful locations, each one inspired by the iconic places Link explores on his quest. In order to make the world feel as realistic and authentic as possible, I decided to only use actual locations instead of relying on green screen or CGI models. From the Temple of Time to Hyrule Castle, from Gerudo Valley to the Kakariko Windmill, every place actually exists. This certainly brought an extra level of complexity to an already challenging project, but I felt a proper tribute to such a spectacular series deserved the extra effort. I hope you enjoy this music video as much as we did creating it!

Not only does it look nicer, it sits very well with fans and non-fans of the game and the series as a whole. Thank you for making this. It is insanely good and touches and uses Koji Kondo's music with new versions that fit so well. Not only was OOT the game that was the be all end all for many, it was also the mark of a great era of technological advancements and paved the road of all future 3D Games. Whether it be VR, Dark Souls, Blood Borne, Doom 2015, or even Fortnite, OOT was the game that put in place and showed everybody that a 3D Game can be done and it can work very well. I would go as far as to say that OOT helped get the PS2 to be the best selling video game console of all time, being the fact that it encouraged Sony to compete with Nintendo. Gorgeous shots, brilliant music arranging and choices from my favorite game, the inclusion of even small props and having a horse play Epona in the video is just icing on the cake. The costume work is perfect, and seeing different times of day represented is both challenging and masterfully well done. All of the action, 3D work (assuming that Hyrule castle was a model), pyrotechnics, and action were done so well and with a ton of care to the franchise. Loved how the song of time is played inside a temple of time like place. 2. How majestic the song starts, giving away a sensation of grandeur adventure at a big and vast open field. 3. Simple but needed, playing the kokiri forest song in a forest with lots of trees. 4. That giant deku tree! 4. Filming in a real hyrule like castle?! Even thought it was CGI at first. 5. Filming in the desert? so cool! a treasure chest? 10x cool! that map, 100x cool! 6. Bolero of fire with a volcano like set? nice. 7. Sheik playing the harp too? insane! awesome! 7. Gerudo desert, with all those cliffs: What a good location! 8. Saria's song in the forest ✓ 9. We even get a skull kid! and bow and arrows! 10. And that fairy ocarina, the flower, looking up like trying to search for someone, and the look of nostalgia remembering saria :( 11. That princess zelda and her clothes look spot on. 12. A windmill for song of storms, nice bro! 13. That 4:40 change to raining weather: master mind! and even sound effects with bigger drums and thunders, so F.... Awesome! my favorite part of the video 14. Playing serenade of water near a waterfall and a river: spot on 15. You even got an Epona! 16. And a clash of swords with Ganondorf?! you rock! 17. And finally, end it the same way as the game with the master sword resting in the temple of time

  • The amount of emotion this drew from me is insane. I'm in awe. This video, will become as legendary as this game has. The part that breaks my heart is the younger generation will never know the type of joy this game brought us. I agree, I didn't want this video to end. If there's ever a movie to be made, it should be by you and only you. I would buy tickets for the premier for everyone I know on God.
