To be honest, I like season 1 more. And when I watched season 2, as an audience, I felt that Jo Jo character was forced to be with Hye Yeong. And I kinda feel that SunOh doesn’t do anything wrong and he was blindsided. He indeed likes her and she likes him too. The accident scene in season 1 was a bit forced scene and the beginning of season 2 too. I don’t dislike Hye Yeong but I wish the drama seems much better if Jo Jo ends up with SunOh or better story board if they want Jo Jo to end with Hye Yeong. Maybe if there’s Season 3, more surprises will come? Anyhow, I become Song Kang fan 😬.
How about introducing a third guy haha

I really like hye yeong but I feel so so bad for sun oh because of how much he loved jo jo Edit:I sort of knew who Jo jo would end up with because of the webtoon about it but I also didn’t because I’ve seen other kdramas change what the webtoon did at the end but I still wanted jo jo to end up with sun oh tbh :)

At first, I was rooting for Sun Oh but... Hye Yeong wrecked me and ended up rooting for him instead (cause in reality, I prefer to go with someone who makes me feel safe and loves me more than I do hahaha). I like the ending though I guess 90% of viewers wanted Sun Oh to be Jojo's end game and I can totally understand why they wanted him. For those who haven't seen the series yet, this reaction didn't spoil much (except for the ending haha) because seeing the whole series still hits different so go ahead and watch it 🤍

I hated sun oh until the end because he seemed like a jerk! But I thought she loved him more and was only staying with the other guy because he was nicer.
Thanks for your reaction and analysis! I really enjoyed it! This was very well thought out :) I just want to mention what I think about HY "breaking up" with JJ. I don't think he broke up with her personally, but was disappointed that she didn't do what made her truly happy and he didn't want her to linger with him if she was not happy. He told her she should be forward with what she truly wanted and in that moment, she did not respond to him. So he left her space to decide what she really wanted. He was fine waiting for her as long as she was sincere, and if she dumped him then so be it. For me it was more of like, "I am disappointed that you have not been truthful with yourself" rather than "I am hurt that you are being insincere with me". I agree with you that S2 could have been done better and it had more potential, but I was actually surprised by the route they took. I felt the characters were more relateable and grounded as opposed to S1. Their decisions and progression also made more sense and remained consistent. I was getting worried that JJ would sway back and forth, but she did not. Also, I quite enjoyed the character of JJ and I know you said she's not your favorite, but her confusion works well in the given setting. It's like our life is so dependent on this technology, we wouldn't trust our own feelings anymore. She wasn't sure of what she wanted, and I felt her angst and confusion. If her character was in another drama without the app, I would have been really annoyed that she never spoke up. Overall, I still prefer S2 over S1 because I felt it was more profound despite more plot holes. I was invested in the characters and this is the better love triangle where there were no outside forces stopping any of the characters (beside the app). The story was also not rushed unlike many other Kdramas. Sorry this was long! I have been thinking a lot about it and it's my favorite kdrama in the last 7 years, despite its flaws.

I really didn't like season 2 tbh, Sun oh was my fav and as you said they tried to put him in a bad light (specially at the beginning) I guess to make the audience to choose Hye yeong, and well I don't dislike him or anything, actually I think his character development was good, but yeah... not what I was expecting at all. I recommend you to watch Navillera in case you haven't. It's a new Netflix drama where the actor that interpreted Sun oh is the protagonist and it is really good and sentimental and nice overall. Ps. I hope you react to SHINee they have two new songs (Don't call me and Atlantis!), and SuperM has a new fun song which is a collab with an insurance company lmao, but it's really fun (We do) Ps 2. I really liked this video too, keep this kind of content going!
About season 1, Jojo breaks with Sunoh because she hears his parents telling Sunoh that they are going to move onto another city if he keeps dating, so she doesn't want Sunoh to leave the city.
That's how it appeared but later I think she explained it better. That wasn't the entire reason, she said basically being with him was to heavy a feeling for her and she didn't want it anymore, partly triggered by overhearing that
💁🏻♀️I'm sorry If I do not have the perfect english here, trying my best so you can understand my point of view, I hope you can read my opinion, and also reply, if you think that same way or different 🧐I feel that the end, show her finally doing the race, which she wanted to do for a few episodes way before the end, and for me this kinda represents when you want to run away, or have a moment to just forget about everything, leave your problems behind, but she was not sure if that was the right way 💁🏻♀️so many things happened, that you already mentioned, everything goes different than she expected, so she confronted her mistakes, her bad choices, and feel so much better now, and decided that she needs a time alone, from everything, from everyone, to kinda clear her mind, 🤔so... she left , now..., the real think is about to start, because (FOR ME) this ending really shows why she takes the decision she made, and it is really important to pay attention, everything happens so quickly, and is easy to say it does not have a meaning, or that it was pointless, but it does have a meaning at least for me 💁🏻♀️Besides of what I just said, she kinda remembers her past again, (sees herself) she realizes that her "problems" did not disappeared" still there, and it is about her parents, they had suicidal thoughts, they prepared everything, so they will died together and not "suffer" anymore, she always thought she was the problem, that the reason was only her, and they didn't love her, but than she sees herself from the past, and cries looking at her being scare, unsure of what is going to happen next, and so you will see the teddy bear, that she needed to let go, so she could run away, as kid, but now she understands that as she had to do that, to be able to feel ok, and run freely, she did reflect her present self, on her past, as she now needed to let go her past, and present situation, "things happened, but now you need to let go" Kinda telling me (in my opinion) that she starts to understands her parents in a way, you could say that they did not took the best decision, but at the time, it was their decision, good or bad, they did it, not because of her, but their situation at the moment, their problems lead them to do what they did; so she can see, that her parents, Yes, did not take the best decision, but they felt so overwhelm at the moment that it were their choice. In a way she forgives them, or see the situation in a different perspective, that now she can let go, and feel free, completely for the first time, and the end shows how truly happy she is now, and ready to continue, now that she learned form her past, she can finally move on, no more lies and the heavy weight of the past is no longer there, .... as they repeated a few times at the end: 🧸 ""It wasn't because I didn't love you, you were just too heavy"" 🧸

After watching this series. I noticed that kdrama knows how to play with my feelings😢😢😢. At some point I couldnt watch S2. I literally went to the last episode of S2 so I can survive the trauma. My goodness

With how things ended >> 3 people are happy and only one is unhappy >> sunoh Works very well doesnt it??? That's what you get if you are toxic not only to 1 but 3 people at the same time 1. Jojo > forcing her to love back 2. Hye-yeong > trying first to snatch your own BFF's crush then later his girlfriend 3. His GF > undermining her by persuing his ex

Hello guys, actually i'm little bit confused about the ending of the story. Could you please share your ideas about the conclusion of the story? I mean, do you think the love depends on a choice or a feeling? At the end of the series, it shows that being together with someone does not only depend on a feeling but choices that we chose, but i didn't understand the main message. Does it point out choices or feelings? :)
Despite what we feel for someone, we should always be careful and choose the right person. With feelings only, the person may not always be right for you. But with the choice to be with the right person eventually brings feelings as well.
For me sunoh was just so toxic, he wasn’t just shown negatively, it was because he actually WAS a bad choice. The whole point of the show IMO, similar to Nevertheless, is that there are toxic people and it’s all great and fun but then the right choice is the guy who truly respects you and tells it to you straight. No games, no confusion. Although nevertheless totally did the webtoon wrong by getting rid of the entire webtoon’s message, I’m glad love alarm pulled through with it. Although I have to say, the wait for season 2 was so long and the storyline for it was kind of dry so it’s understandable why lots of people didn’t like hyeyoung. I still always advocate for the wholesome, non toxic boys :)
Nevertheless guy was shown more toxic than Sun oh. Yes in Love Alarm he was jealous and possessive. But he didn't force kiss her. He didn't pull her hands. He never shown playing games and cheating on her. Never flirt with other girls. I wasn't happy about Nevertheless ending. But I'm sad and disappointed in Love Alarm ending.

Seriously Jojo was way toxic I hated season 2. She left sunho for herself without giving him reason to understand. I pity Sunho even in the end he couldn’t get over her , his 4 years were destroyed like trash, he lost his smile. Hye yeong love was true but jojo should be letting sunho heal. I hated the second season but also learned how even an brief relationship can snatch yourself from you , how deeply it can effect your mental health & there’s no going back! So choose wisely with whom you are spending your precious time.
Yea right. 1. Sunoh kissing Jojo(who was someone elses girlfriend and also his BFF's crush) at the first time was not toxic at all, right? 2. Sunoh again kissing Jojo when she was Hye-yeong's GF at the time was nowhere near toxic right?? 3. But I thought that sun oh and jojo were gonna end up together, that was my main guess even how cringy and how he forced and threw himself at jojo smh🙃 like sir you need to chill 😭 and it was fucked up how she broke up with him without a reason and not being honest. But over all it was an eh for me.
