Sorry to burst your bubble, Chimps grow very quickly and once Vali is a fully grown adult, he will have the strength of 5 men and will be more and more impossible to control and will show how horribly horribly dangerous he can get. Chimps can’t be domesticated. EVER

Not so much. That’s anthropomorphization. If they brought the chimpanzee around the puppies after age 5 or so, it will gleefully rip them in half and drink the blood that pours from the carcasses. This is not to be morbid. Humans seem to have this weird idea that chimpanzees are anything like humans. They’re mean as all Hell.
There’s a cool video here on YT where it shows an ape that’s become “friends” with a dog, as they play all the time. Everyone commented how cute they are. A follow up detailed how one day the dog wasn’t in the mood to play, and the ape, who’d been docile for years, opted to pick it up and repeatedly smash its head into the wall by its tail. This is the same method they use to kill monkeys they hunt in the wild, except smashing their heads into a tree trunk or ground. They’re roughly 3 feet tall, with the strength of two and a half men, and exceptionally poor impulse control.

I like how the bigger chimp was so eager to get in there with the puppies. He tried to get that door open and get in there as soon as he could. The smaller one was more skeptical of the little one's; but you could tell the bigger guy loved puppies and smaller animals. I wonder how old the older chimp is? Thanks.

After seeing the Gordy attack scene from Nope and reading about the Travis the Chimp incident. I think it is safe to say that having a chimpanzee as a pet is NOT a good idea at all. Even Jane Goodall said in the LA Times once "No matter how human they seem they can't be pets".

Wild animals can attack even at the slightest wrong move. This place brings people (including children) to play with these animals, and without realizing it, can provoke an attack. Furthermore, wild animals are NOT pets and DO NOT belong in people's homes. Period!
