part 2.This is the Henschel turret with zimmerit. I have decided to break this build into 2 parts because of the size of this kit.

  • I remember when I was a kid back in the 1960s Model companies made aircraft kits with full interiors and had part of the skin with clear plastic. It would be sweet to have that technology available for kits like this one.

  • so far as I can see out of all the builders, your the only one actually building this tank. all others are criticizing it and doing kit reviews. wonderful word thus far. you just dive in....I love it.

  • You're such a patient person it shows in the video, this work needs a person like you that does not get frustrated easily with the minute details of such a complicated kit. Nice work.

  • I've been building models of all kinds since age 8. Planes, cars, ships, tanks and what have you. 72nd scale, 48th scale 32nd scale and one 16th scale. IMO the more detail the better. What I like to do is detail certain parts still on the sprue, makes for easier handling. With this tank you could display it together and still take advantage of all the interior detail work. Open the hatches and any other access panels. Easy enough to do with a little work and patience. The ammo racks I would have painted before assembling them, weathering each shell individually. The racks themselves I'd do after assembly. Building a 1/32 scale Me 109 I spent a whole day just on the engine. Superb detail for its time. I'm 63

  • Hi Andy, what a great hour and a half viewing, thanks for this. In my very humble opinion the whitewash detracted from the overall look of the model. So much detail deserved to be seen so I really appreciated how you displayed the model. Thanks once again.

  • I would so love to see you build the meng m3a3 bradley with the full interior kit, your videos have helped me so much on my work with my M41 WALKER BULLDOG. You even gave me the idea to purchase bandais tie interceptor and paint it 181st style as you did. Your videos are perfect, the music is relaxing, you speak clearly without being annoying and talking too much. You show how to do things and you do it well. I wish i had stopped in your shop while i lived in phoenix but i made great friends there and will definitely visit sometime in the future, and ill be sure to stop in your shop and purchase some kits or paints. As an army veteran seeing that bradley would be incredible! Cheers mate!

  • Hi Andy, First of all, I really admire your work and videos here! In this specific case, when I saw that the rear part is warped, I took off the box from the shelf to check if my copy has this issue as well. Well... mine was also warped but more badly than yours. The rear right and the base of coupola was several millimeters off shape. I have boiled a pot of water, put the piece in for 5-6 seconds and pressed it tight on the table for a minute. Luckily it worked like charm for the first try. Now it is nearly perfect and waiting for a future assembly project... ;) Cheers, and keep on!

  • i just got this kit for xmas, really looking forward to building it, the last (and first) full interior kit i built was Miniart's su122 1/35, and whilst its a great kit with a lot of detail, theres a lot of imperfections and gaps, but from your videos it seems like this kit wont be as problematic. I was planning on getting metal tracks for this kit, but theyre like $65 and the track sag isnt even visible due to the side armour, so i dont think i will.
