This is so Epic and this should have been Godzilla’s terrifying fighting skills in those previous movies.
The previous movies had him fighting guys close to his equal or, in mutos case, literally evolved to fight him.

I love how Legendary flaunts Godzilla’s power gap as the apex predator. No other kaiju has the combination of Speed, Power & Intelligence. Add in the ferocity he uses when it calls for it & he’s simply untouchable. It’s not winning or losing with him, it’s what kinda fight will you put up before he kills you
Tell that to Ghidorah who almost killed Godzilla if Mothra didn't give him the extra boost.
@musigamer4723 Godzilla actually had Ghidorah on the ropes at the start of that fight. But then the latter pulled that wing trick with the power grid. If it wasn't for that, Ghidorah likely would've lost sooner.

I like how Big G did learn and improve vs flying enemies since Male Muto. He immediately go atomic breath when he successfully grab them , you can also see he throwing hands more and swing, throw enemies, would be lying if he not take some notes from Kong fight style .

The biggest threat Kong was to Godzilla before this Legendary effort rewrote it all is that he would show up in Toho's original movie without "winning" and Universal would sue in court to hold the release up for breach of contract. There's zero chance of Kong beating Godzilla one on one without deux ex machina and/or licensing demands. Zero. All the way back to 1954 when Kong was still circa 1933 and he was still getting killed by small arms aircraft fire he was unfit to fight Godzilla. In 1976 he would have been one punched by tank rounds that Godzilla literally laughs off or completely ignores. He's only a match because he's "America's monster" in American movies and America can't lose gracefully. Americans are so desperate to prevail they're literally matching him against Justice League in comics now.

Here's hoping that there's a season 2, and that we get to see other characters from the previous Monsterverse, including Megalon and an updated Jet Jaguar. Maybe have Monarch researchers stumble across an ancient temple, and discover three giant robots inside that temple, which are Raydeen, Dangard Ace and Combatra (or just one robot, which it could be Mazinger Z or Gaiking).

The fact that this is a TV show and the CGI is not absolute shit compared to the movies is very impressive

Of all Legendary Godzilla design. I think i prefer 2014 Godzilla design used. His dorsal plates doesn't look too big and seems more comfortable to move around. Not saying the new dorsal plates he get is bad after he got the nuclear bomb to heal from Serizawa but 2014 design is just so nostalgic.

The fact that a mount Everest sized monster would be soooo pissed and concerned about an ant sized metal ball with puny humans in it.
The funniest thing is that he could have made it into the pod if he wasn't sitting on his ass watching the entire fight.
I wish Forst Verk should return to season two and get fully grown and challenged Godzilla and Kong in a fight!
