The stitch isn't that they were outside the whole time, but that their laid-back camping trip was really a movie set requiring a gaffer, a key grip & camera crew, a boom operator, and an entire prop department. I'm not even sure that those are his kids and not child actors with SAG cards. Or that those marshmallows were real and not props.
