For the haters of this guy: "Flying pencil" is a nickname for the Boeing 757, a narrow-body twinjet airliner. The 757 is also known as the "Stick Insect", "AtariFerrari", "Slippery Snake", "Long Tall Sally", "Greased Bullet", and "Seattle Rocket". The 757 is nicknamed the "flying pencil" because of its length. "Flying pencil" may also refer to: Dornier Do 17: A German WWII-era light bomber that is also known as the "Fliegender Bleistift". The Do 17 is nicknamed the "flying pencil" because of its slim fuselage and tail. It was popular with its crews because of its handling, especially at low altitude. Dornier Do 215: A successor to the Do 17 There we go, I hope you learnt something new and didn't hate him.
