  • These owners seemed far more reasonable than most of the others seen on the show. Sure, they did spoil them quite a bit, but they were more willing to take responsibility and worked hard to solve the dog's behavioral issues.

    • Razzmic True, but they wasted all that money on a dog nanny but never thought that what they really needed was a professional trainer. That’s weird, especially since those dogs are huge and powerful. One of Dylan’s “nips” on a child could do massive damage, and Dylan would be euthanized. They wouldn’t be seen as just the eccentric rich people with oversized pets; they’d be the owners of a dog that maimed a child. But yes, this couple did step up and take better care of the dogs and better care of the villagers. The 3 dogs are absolutely gorgeous, and I’m glad it worked out for them.

    • It's possible to give your dogs gourmet food and treat them but still be healthy. IMO if someone wants to spoil their dog, as long as it doesn't had a bad impact on the dog's health or behaviour then it's no problem. But all too often people who spoil their dogs this was just load it with so much unhealthy junk. Honestly, all it takes is a little bit of research to find healthy ways to spoil and treat your dog like they're the best dog on earth (which they are obviously)

    • yeah but with great danes it's important not to feed them too nutritious meals when they're growing. there is specific dog food just for great dane puppies. otherwise they grow too quickly and it leads to (more) extreme health issues later on in life. so this gourmet food is only rly good for them after puppyhood (2 years or so). i have a feeling that thats not how this family fed their puppies tho
