  • Glad they brought in a New Orleans musician to play a jazz standard, even if it's shown in a popular light. One great aspect of pop music is that it can make less accessible or "outdated" music more accessible to wider audiences. The thing with Troy Andrews (Trombone Shorty) is that many would actually consider him a legitimate jazz musician, despite the several genres he crosses over into. Versatile cat

  • I read trombone shorty book to my class(kindergarten) and also play this video to them. At the end of the video, the kids just can’t help but clapping their hands! Some came to me said “this is awesome “. Thank you Trombone shorty! The kids were having a great time enjoying your music!

  • I was down to St. James infirmary, in a found my baby a girl. She was dressed out on a long white table, So sweet, so cold so fair Let her go, let her go, God bless her Wherever she may be She may search this whole wide world over Never find a sweeter man as me When I die please bury me in my high top Stetson hat Put a twenty dollar gold piece on my watch chain The gang'll know I died standing pat Let her go, let her go God bless her Wherever she may be She may search this wide world over Never find a sweeter man as me I want six crapshooters to be my pallbearers Three pretty women to sing a song Stick a jazz band on my hearse wagon Raise hell as I stroll along Let her go Let her go God bless her Wherever she may be She may search this whole wide World over She'll never find a sweeter Man as me
