  • Learned some things 👍🏻 so far, since updating I’ve really been enjoying predictive text. It’s WAYYY better now and texting is far more enjoyable! Overall smoothness of the OS is nice too. Battery life seems better as well! Oh and crossfade in Music is definitely nice!

  • Noticed my battery lasted slightly longer than before after ios17. And unsilenced my phone for the first time in YEARSSSS. Absolutely love the new tones. It's pleasant to the ears and calm. Just updated to .1 for bug fixes and security updates too. Edit: My phone no longer feels warmer when charging. Which is great! I love it so far. -11pro - 5 years - 72% battery health for 3 years straight and counting.

  • Great video! Just a small feedback, it would have been better (IMO) if you grouped each settings. Because you were referring to for example, Safari a couple of times. But spread throughout the video, so going back and forth is a little annoying and time wasting sometimes. Since I'm already in the Safari setting, I might as well know all new features to change. (Safari was just an example). Thanks again!

  • Great tips especially the ping my watch! Apple has removed custom text tones from sounds. While exploring the tones section I realised this too late and now stuck with new tone. I don’t like the default ones that Apple has shipped, it simply doesn’t serve my purpose. Too quiet to hear unless you’re in an absolute silent environment.

    • Battery is pretty much the same for me, not a big deal breaker. But the keyboard is MUCH faster and lags less. But the only annoying gripe I have with the update is the default notification. The new "Rebound" notification is too damn quiet.

  • Something I would love but may not be possible, it to have the phone vibrate when the camera level is level. I'm visually impaired and might have a hard time seeing it in the bright sunlight. I can still see to take some photos. The new custom accessibility app thing though with the camera seems too basic.

  • A slight problem that you didn’t mention with the TEXT TONES….. if you already have some custom ones… they have been removed. disappear after ios17 update! The list of RINGTONES are still showing, But the custom ones i had to use for text vanished. Only the one set as DEFAULT shows.

  • Most annoying thing for me is the “Bringing devices together”, I have two phones one personal and one for work. I want the bump feature turned on on both phones, but they try to connect to each other so much it’s getting very annoying. Wish there was away to ignore specific phones/contacts with this feature without needing to disable it altogether.

  • FYI, in order to change it to HEIF for raw photos, you’ll have to switch from “Most Compatible” to “High Efficiency” under the Camera Capture section

  • Remember you can also shoot in JPEG Max if you want, just change the format you want to save as to JPEG and it will appear in the setting after as JPEG Max instead of the HEIF Max that was shown in this video. It does take up a few more MB than the HEIF Max, but still a nice compression compared to the uncompressed full ProRaw.

    • @@namanjain25 You need to go to settings and then go down to camera, then at the top chose beteeen High Efficiency (HEIF) or Most compatible (JPEG) then below that click on Professional standardformat, here you can choose what should be shown as default in the camera app, since I set mine to most compatible the JPEG Max is one of the options, the other two options is ProRaw 12 MP and ProRaw 48 MP. Select the one you want to have shown as default when you open the camera. I set mine to JPEG Max so thats the one I see at the top when I open the camera. Then when you are in the camera app you can long press on that icon and then you will have the option there to select between all the formats, JPEG Max, Raw 12, and Raw Max. Hope this helps you.

  • My keyboard is so slow now I regret updating. Feels like what they say about apple doing this kind of stuff to keep costumers buying the newer phones. They simply shouldn't have released the update to some phones if it was gonna screw up the user experience so bad. I use an iPhone 11 Pro and intend to upgrade to a 15 soon.

  • Just got my new 15 Pro a couple of days ago and along with it I decided to create an entirely new Apple ID and customize it down to every detaill. It just feels so good having a fresh slate where you can customize everything the way you want it.

  • i'm just so happy that ios17 fixed the haptic touch especially the mess it was before just picking up the phone would somehow trigger the blinking icons to edit the screen all the time. super ridiculous it took apple 2 years just to make my 13 function correctly but i'm thankful it finally does.

  • I thought I knew all the ins and outs of IOS until this video. The amount of settings with this phone is crazy and even between updates I dont even know if they are fixing the previous problem or if there's a new feature.
