  • FINALLY ! This is so meaningful to me ! Mark and Yebba depicted heartbreak and loneliness so beautifully lyrically and visually. So thankful to have this source of comfort. The simplicity of it, looking out across the city, in the dark, really highlights the deep intensity and reflection of it all. Being surrounded by all of those people, feeling so vulnerable and yet still so alone. And the harmonies at the end and coming into the light, is such a beautiful touch to the melody and coming out of the lonely darkness that comes with heartbreak. Still feeling a sense of empowerment through the comfort. Love, love, love 💔

    • Why does every song she does have to be related to her mothers passing. It’s getting weird! Maybe this song has to do with an experience with a man. I mean the lyrics literally have nothing to do with death or loss.

      @prmike22@prmike224 жыл бұрын
    • Michael Thomas getting weird? Thats a really insensitive thing to say js. If YEBBA did sing parts of this with her Mom in mind thats her choice. She sounds incredible.

      @yebbitesmith4765@yebbitesmith47654 жыл бұрын
    • Yebbite Smith what’s weird is that almost every song she’s sung since “My Mind” is somehow about her mother according to fans comments. It’s getting weird that people keep saying that, when it’s not true at all. If you listen to the lyrics of this song, it has nothing to do with death or loss. Wtf is insensitive about what I said? She’s probably never going to get over her mothers death and that’s terrible but what’s more insensitive is that people keep talking about it in the comments saying that every damn song she sings is about her deceased mother. People need to move on from her tragedy!

  • Tell me baby what's on your heart? 'Cause I've been wandering around in your dark, yeah ('Cause I've been, 'cause I've been) I've got way too many questions, always learning lessons Loving too hard (loving too hard) Give me just a second to breathe 'Cause you've been turning all the tables on me, yeah ('Cause I've been, 'cause I've been) Whenever you would get up in your feelings, I would always listen Now you turn around and leave (turn around and leave, turn around and leave) Oh if we fall apart Let's do it in the dark Hit me in the heart this time Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forgive you (won't forgive you) Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I can't forget you (can't forget you) I toss and turn alone in my bed When you should be laying here beside me instead Oh, don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forgive you, forgive you, forgive you this time Tell me if this love is a lie 'Cause the ticking time is passing me by, babe ('Cause I've been, 'cause I've been) I'm waiting but the second hand is turnin' Burnin' all the circles in my mind (mind, mind) yeah Anticipating 'cause you know I'm never satisfied And I don't wanna hear the reasons why, why, why we fight, yeah Oh if we fall apart Let's do it in the dark Hit me in the heart this time Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forgive you (won't forgive you) Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I can't forget you (can't forget you) I toss and turn alone in my bed When you should be laying here beside me instead Oh, don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forgive you, forgive you, forgive you this time Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forgive you, oh Don't you leave me lonely tonight 'Cause I won't forget you, oh I toss and turn alone in my bed When you should be laying here beside me instead Oh, don't you leave me lonely 'Cause I won't forgive you, forgive you, forgive you this time
