I have a question brother hopefully you can answer do you think it's right that we can use secular songs and remix it for God where God says what business does light have with darkness and that we shouldn't conform to the way of the world that we should be set apart in everything?
Well, my answer may not be everyone’s answer, but I’ll put it like this. Me personally, I use it for evangelism/soul winning. It has been a tool and an effective one. Secondly, that scripture is referring to joining with unbelievers in acts of idolatry and things sinful. That’s not what I’m doing. Take away the lyrics they have written, and you have an instrumental. I’ve replaced what they’ve done with the gospel. Same thing in us. Only thing that changed about you and I are the lyrics we used to live by, until Jesus saved us, and used what the devil used to use.
