  • Hello from Wisconsin. I'm a late nighter. I'm happy to hear that Josh's art show turned out great. I can't wait to see the video.

  • The joy of getting rid of stuff: Objects can only bring a fleeting joy, a sweet, nostalgic memory. These pale in comparison to the people who matter most in our lives. Trappings of life come and go, the flotsam and jetsam of our experiences.

  • Hey Alexander! Southeastern Virginia has a lot of history. Jamestown, Yorktown, Williamsburg are all real close together. A lot of history in that area. Native, Revolutionary, Civil War, Military. Also, Virginia Beach, the Chesapeake Bay, Rivers. You can take a day trip to the mountains in the western part of the state. The Shenandoah Valley is beautiful. Northern Virginia and DC. Lots to see and do whatever your interests. We enjoy the channel and all that you share with us! Thanks for all you do!

  • As for Alberta through my American tourist eyes, I enjoyed Calgary, and I also thought Banff was so beautiful. Alberta has a lot to offer and to see. Years ago, my great uncle was the foreman of a very large ranch somewhere around Kamloops called The Gang Ranch. My grandma used to bring me Native American souvenirs from around there.

  • Alexander! Such a lovely Live and life! Show idea for you, I think seeing your special collection was so endearing, the idea of seeing people's favorite objects, hearing how acquired, and why significant to them, might make a winning show. What we find precious, and why, is both deeply revealing and fascinating to see as humans.

  • I see you have what looks like a metal Tea pot, that's my addiction. They are hard to find in the US, but I enjoy them. My family came here from England moved to the US when I was very young. I also collect miniature figures made my Hagen and Renakir miniatures. My all time favorite post was the "potter's house" You were so kind to that lady and gave her peace about what would happen to her artwork. Blessings to you and your family. I'm also a night Owl LOL

Little Rock, AR, has the Clinton Presidential Library and Central High School Museum. Again, lots of antique stores around. Huntsville, AL, Space Center St. Augustine, FL, is the oldest city in the USA. Beautiful place. Close to Cape Canaveral/NASA. Branson, MO, great shows and shopping, beautiful part of the country.

  • Mackinac (pronounced Mackinaw) Island is between the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan. No motor vehicles are allowed on the island. It's all bikes, horses, horse drawn carriage, or walking to get around the island. The Victorian architecture and flowers everywhere are incredible, and it's like going back in time. Actually, the movie Somewhere In Time with Christopher Reeves and Jayne Seymour was filmed there. Shuttle boat services are available to transport you to and from the island. The longest front porch is on The Grand Hotel there, and the island is also the fudge capital of the world, with many shops to watch it be made. 😊

  • So in 6 month we are going to have a sketch book tour! Okay maybe in a year. Art is wonderful, making things is wonderful. So hope you are going to take your time to paint, draw, build, create. I am in aw for the craftmanship back in the days and that a lot of things stil excist today and sometimes even function. I was in the Davinci Museum in Florence last year so facanating. Or the Gallileo Museum there are old clocks and mashines from mid century (16h) it is just awsome. I love old things especially becouse of knowing how hard it had to be to make it.

There is a whole area of them in NE Bay City, just Easy of Saginaw River. And if you go to Detroit, make sure you visit the Motown Museum!!
