Shadeur looks on point. He’s getting rid of the ball faster and not holding on so long like he did last season. Travis Hunter is Travis Hunter, Shilo looks faster and more precise. But other than that this game wasn’t anything too crazy.

A lot of times he was holding the ball cause he knew the next play the sack was coming, dude was the most hit QB IN COLLEGE if he didn't hold the ball he wouldn't of made no plays. Watch as he gets to trust his line he will throw the ball away a lot more. Last year he would of been throwing that mf away almost every play.

As a husker fan this did nothing but get me more hyped for this game week 2: Sanders is making really quick snappy decisions and delivering the ball on time, the receiver core in boulder is electric, this is going to be a great game. Will be interesting to see a game where we have 2 superstar QBs facing off and a game where one team doesnt turn the ball over 11 times lol

Something that can be attributed to coach prime 100% is #36. If you watch all the videos from practice like I do, you’ve seen him just build his confidence and really teach him the position and it showed up immediately when the lights are on. What a great play on the ball right there, really good stuff, won’t be surprised when he starts taking 1st team reps.
I don't think so! You don't really believe Prime would telegraph and display showcase all of the weapons in his arsenal! This is chess on the grid iron. No general forecasts his strategic war plan to the adversary b4 engaging in battle. Lol😂

It’s the defense that’s going to be story of next season. This defense is legit. The guys primes brung in were highly recruited from the top programs. This defense will be one of the best in the country. #92 Anquin Barnes the big Dlinemen from Alabama they wanted to keep him desperately he was going to be their next best dlineman. He came here. He’s a game changer. And another guy who didn’t play chidowze from Houston. One of the best Dtackles in college last year gave Texas fits when he played he’s another game changer. I feel bad for any qbs that have to face this pass rush. And with how good or dline will it’s going to be even better for our DBs the more under pressure the QB is the more he’ll throw ill-advised passes which we’ve already had a elite secondary so that means those guys will get more picks. This team is scary good. When prime said y’all better get him last year he meant it. I think this team will go undefeated. Idk if theirs a better defensive team in college and our offense will be unstoppable.

They need to develop their players from a size standpoint, i.e. weekly reporting weight goals which is standard at most programs (to naturally put on 20-30lbs for the big guys), so that they can physically match up and be able to run the ball to avoid becoming one dimensional. Unless it's intentional to create a narrative for why the need to rely solely on Shedeur to pass and not use the running game.

Colorado was more concerned about the concert and lil Wayne performing than the spring game nothing but a clown show
Colorado will basically be a carbon copy of last season. Casual fans want to watch all the flash from receivers and impact players, but true fans, who understand the game, watch the lines of scrimmage in these type of practice games. Neither one of these lines are all that great. The offensive line was allowing a whole lot of defenders into the backfield, from an average, to maybe slightly better then average defensive line, which is not a very good sign. Sanders will be getting hurried and sacked, early and often this year, just like last year. This team has a great QB, and an elite #1 receiver with a couple decent #2 receivers, and that's about it. Both lines are average, linebackers are average at best, and defensive backfield is average at best. Their going to be really good at passing, their going to struggle running the ball against decent, experienced defenses, and their going to struggle to stop the run defensively. All that equals carbon copy. I see no real improvement from last season, except maybe the defensive line is slightly better and more athletic. This team and program is quickly becoming a place where linebackers and running backs go to die. I hear a lot of people claiming that Dieon is only here to get his boys, and Hunter attention and to get them drafted and then he's gone. I also see a lot of hopeful Colorado fans, and Dieon fans trying to dispute this, however with the lack of development and improvements on the lines of scrimmage, or linebackers, or a running game, I'm starting to believe the naysayers on this one. Also, I'm starting to think that coach Sanders was somehow convinced that, because of his name and star power, the the elite of elite 4 and 5 star recruits that go to the Ohio State's and Georgia's and Alabama's and Texas and Oaklahoma programs of the world would be knocking his door down by now, but that just doesn't seem to be the case. He's going to have to do way better with his recruiting then ranked in the 60's or whatever they are, if he expects to ever compete with the elite programs and win anything that matters. In the last 20 or so years, the teams who win conference championships and make playoff runs, or natty runs, almost always need to recruit in at least the top 10, or 15 and your just never going to win a national championship without recruiting in the top 3 to 5.
Still a weak O-line. Can't wait to see Shurdur be blitzed non-stop. That #1 team left tackle can't pick up and hold a block worth shit. Warren Sapp is going to be sucking air again on Sept 3rd.
Even without their starting RB in you can see they will run the ball alot more then the Sean Lewis Buffs.

The thing that's should help Colorado is that their going into a weaker conference than last year. The top teams in Big 12 are Okla State and Kansas State. Enough said. Teams that are a unit and close knit with senior guys with experience that have been with a team for 3, 4, and 5 years, beat teams that outmatched them on paper. Having the talent is only a part of what makes a team successful. And don't get it twisted, CU is anemic in the talent department compared to the majority of these P5 programs. But just like last year, the majority of this team are strangers and only just getting to meet each other. Some of them only start practicing with the team 6 or 7 weeks before the season starts. I cant believe that after all the hype and talk preseason last year by buff fans, we are still having to say and explain the same things all over again to you people. Lol. It's literally Dejavoo all over again. You literally were all saying the same crap last season. This isn't me or anyone else throwing shade or hate and deion when we say these things. We are just stating the things and facts that are staring us in our face. The way deion is recruiting and the way deion is coaching, will never, ever, ever breed success at CU or anywhere for that matter.
