He probably gets away with that outside the box but, technically, that was a foul. And, as a result, a pen and a yellow card. Harsh but fair...

@@JohnHoworth He ran into him in the penalty area and off the ball. If they were challenging for possession at the time of contact, I could see why people think it shouldn't have been given. But neither was in possession and he ran into him trying to turn, get to the ball and clear it. Soft? Yes. But it was a penalty. Well, I'm a Gooner but when injustice is done, we must talk about it. Many times this EPL Refs are disappointing...how is that a penalty for crying out sake? Then he books not just the player but their coach. It's unfair and frustrating to watch. That's what this Refs do when they want a team to win.

VK messed up the starting line-up: Amdouni shouldn't be playing (stealing a wage) and you don't play Vitinho on the left. Thanks to the double yellow card VK was forced to sub Amdouni and correct his tactical mistake. Vitinho on the right, Taylor on the left. Burnley was tactical stronger with 10 than they were with VK's starting 11. VK should have started Taylor and Jay Rod, we could have won this game. Imho VK is an obstacle towards success for this team. Keeping Muric on the bench for 28 games was just criminal and he keeps making tactical mistakes that will result in relegation.

Burnley should have won this match if not for the red card. Badashile playing at the back was a huge mistake by poch. Mudryk should start from the bench, he plays better coming from the bench and cucurella isn't convincing with his defensive play. Poch need to go, he's an average coach and some these useless players should be sold off completely.

Refereeing is just a joke in today's football. The refs have created an alternate universe where no one things it's a penalty and NEITHER DO THEY deep inside but they refer to a rule book that no one finds reasonable.

I am gonna give my honest opinion. Burnley hasn’t been a good candidate on the PL, they haven’t give fight on the league. This match was one of the only matches Burnley has give it all. They deserved to win, that wasn’t a penalty also the big save from Chelseas GK and the crossbar on the corner. This should have been a 2-1 or 3-1 to Burnley.
