  • I bought an Anyang 33 after watching James demo at the ABANA Conference in Memphis. I am very happy with my Anyang 33 and James provides execellent custom support, he's just a phone call away. I've had other smiths use my hammer and they always walk away impressed with the Anyang. Great job James looking forward to your other videos.

  • i have the 25kg anyang and it is brilliant, it works so hard for me, and takes up hardly any space. even with no experience it is simple to maintain. i didn't buy it from james, ( i got mine second hand) but i should have, because he is more helpful than any dealer i have ever come across for any product! buy with confidence!!

  • Anyang is one of the largest forging machinery manufacturer in the world. They make forging systems for some of the largest auto mfg in the world. Google consolidated industries in Connecticut. Landing gear and other parts for USA military choppers. It may sound like a strange name but they are the real deal.

  • Well, a very interesting look at a power hammer I doubt I will ever afford, lol. On the other hand, who knows what tomorrow brings? Very impressive volume of work in a very short time, I hope to have sufficient to need one, would definitely like to try one out. Thanks for a great demonstration of the real value of a power hammer, a good display of capability, very useful!!

  • There have been several video's like the will it blend... there was one showing how to use the Anyang power hammer to compress data on a hard drive. In the end, the hammer did an outstanding job compressing both the data and the hard drive... I also did a serious video on how to crack an egg. The intent was to show the controllability of the hammer. Guess I should have just slammed it. Looking at the hits of "will it blend" think you might be onto something.

  • The total weight of the machine with the base is about 2000 pounds. The ram weight is 55 pounds, but it hits much harder than a typical 55 lb hammer because of the air volume pushing the ram down during operation.

  • Any one else here because Alec Steele got a couple and plus I’ve never heard of Anyang and I wanted to see more specs and information about them but I have no worries about them being good because Alec Steele wouldn’t get a piece of junk Just hoping that the price isn’t too large because my wife wouldn’t be too happy if I had to sell the house just to get a power hammer

    • I have owned Anyang power hammers for over 15 years and have been distributing them for 10 years. I have been working with the factory and other distributors and over the 10 years have made over 50 improvements to these hammers. They are truly "industrial" hammers. I have a website www.anyangusa.net On that website, I have video's showing capabilities of the various size hammers as well as video's showing how to maintain them. I also have a contact page on the site if you want to email me for more information. James

    • You do realize way over half of forgings are Chinese. The Chinese are probably the biggest consumers of Chinese power hammers. And if it's good enough for a professional then it's good enough for the diddly work most Americans do with it.

      @kkknotcool@kkknotcool5 жыл бұрын
    • @Skelotor Two You would be lucky to as skilled as half of Chinese metal workers are over there. This stupid/ignorant attitude some American's have pisses me off. "I spent 5 bucks on a Chinese wrench that the retail store bought for 78 cents, and it broke, so I understand Chinese manufacturers" If fucking broke because it didn't cost anything. You can't use good materials when the store wants the product for under a dollar. It's nothing to do with skill. Pay crap for a hunk of iron and you will get crap iron. Simple as that. I'd like to see you make a decent wrench for 78 cents.

      @kkknotcool@kkknotcool5 жыл бұрын
    • @Skelotor Two Their game is making garbage because that's what we want. They also make much of the best mid range quality tools out there. They are a really skilled and professional manufacturing nation. If you would stop trying to spend 1 dollar on a wrench you wouldn't be so ignorant.

      @kkknotcool@kkknotcool5 жыл бұрын
  • In my experience, anyone that won't publish a base price list is trying to rip you off.

    @Peff711@Peff7116 жыл бұрын
    • I can assure you that I am not trying to rip anybody off... If you talk to any of my customers (hundreds of them), I think you will find that I have built a solid reputation based on supplying an outstanding product at a reasonable price and offer the best lever of customer service that I can. There are two reasons why I do not post prices: 1. Prices can change over time based on transportation costs and upgrades that we make at the factory or in my shop. 2. I really like to have a dialog with customers. I have been a blacksmith for over 20 years and have used Anyang hammers for over 14 years. So many of my customers are basing their purchasing decision on ram weight and cost without considering the long term cost of operation or their real forging needs. A smaller Anyang hammer will outforge many of the larger "ram weight" hammers on the market. I really like to help educate my customers on the alternatives and help them make a more informed decision when they buy a power hammer even if they don't buy from me. If a customer in interested in other input, I try to put them in touch with blacksmiths or bladesmiths who are doing similar work to theirs. It is hard to do that when you give pricing without an opportunity to have a discussion... Let me know if I can help you in the future. James

      @JamesJohnson-sm6nv@JamesJohnson-sm6nv6 жыл бұрын
    • Base price.....without upgrades....not considering shipping....so the average customer can determine if this is anywhere near their price range.
