WIN NEWS INTERVIEW WITH HENRY MORGAN - BRINDABELLA CHRISTIAN COLLEGE STUDENT REPRESENTS AUSTRALIA IN EARTH & ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
Every year our Senior Students are given the opportunity to participate in the Australian Science Olympiads across a multitude of disciplines from earth and environmental science through biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics.
Following rigorous qualifications, one of our students Henry Morgan successfully competed in the Australian Earth and Environmental Science discipline and was selected to compete on the world stage.
As one of a group of 21 excited High School Students from across Australia, Henry attended Parliament House to be formally recognised to compete on behalf of Australia by Minister for Industry and Science Ed Husic.
Henry accepted his place on the 8 member Earth Sciences Team, one of 21 Australian students facing off more than 1000 students from 102 nations across the world. We are so proud to see him in the green and gold blazer, representing Australia. As Henry’s father Bruce Morgan stated:
“A wonderful achievement to represent Australia, we are very proud. It wouldn’t have been possible without the supportive community at the school. Especially the encouragement of Mrs. Antony and the science faculty.”
As we continue to move our College to excellence in STEAM, our sincere congratulations goes out to Henry Morgan as an exemplary and outstanding student, and a testimony to his dedication to learning.
As Henry’s father also stated, "It is a tribute to our exceptional educational leadership and staff". This remains an exciting time for the College’s future AI & Robotics educational pathways, with announcements on our partnership with Boston Dynamics to follow over the coming months.
