  • Super relaxing. I just want to add if anyone tests positive for H Pylori, you need antibiotics, not holistic medicine. Leaving this in your body untreated can cause a lot of issues including cancer later in life.

    • What’re you talking about? All you need to do is stick your hand on glass vials and your body will be able to detect whether the vibrations from the contents of said vials is causing muscle spasms when someone pulls on your arm like they’re working a slot machine. From there, they can determine if you need to take goatsweed or if a simple banana would be sufficient. Seriously though, what would antibiotics do except for kill off the bacteria that’s causing your distress in the first place. I mean that’s just total nonsense

    • I think because with alternative medicines, what makes people actually feel better is being sincerely listened to and having someone take their concerns seriously. I know people who buy into certain alternative practices and they talk about how they felt doctors never listened to their symptoms properly before getting prescriptions

      @sarahlilliancullen@sarahlilliancullen Жыл бұрын
    • @@sarahlilliancullen I think it's part that, and in cases like this one, it's part that you are getting some mild physical therapy from it. the points she's rubbing are often tendon attachment points, which often are tight in ways that massage therapists will work on similarly, the joints are being moved and stretched by an outside party instead of your own muscles for a bit, etc. but yeah, I think just needing therapy in general and getting some time to just relax and feel cared for is the main thing that helps people in these cases.

      @Vlnzlm@Vlnzlm Жыл бұрын
    • Agreed. There's a lot she says that is just.... incorrect. Fermented food isn't rotten. And your body doesn't 'shut down' when something doesn't agree with you. In fact it usually does the opposite when the body detects something bad for it. Nor should food ever be stuck in your digestive track and rotting inside you. A) that's what the purpose of stomach acid and digestive enzymes and bacteria is for, to break down the food so we can process it and take nutrients out, and B) if that ever happens to you, you're gonna find out REAL quick by either dying, or ending up in the emergency room needing some serious help. BUT, having someone move your body and help you stretch and give personalized attention is greatly relaxing.

    • I agree that's non sence in scientics terms but what's dangerous in the vid ?

      @fritefrie@fritefrie9 ай бұрын
    • @fritefrie just that it might convince someone to stop listening to your doctor and listen only to them. I personally don't see this as the main doctor you should see but something as an added thing to your doctor. So they can't prescribe any medications because they don't have a license. However they can point you at some supplements or like an alignment with your joints. The body gives off signals to other parts indicating something is bad somewhere else. Look at heart problems it causes clubbing of your fingers. So while not the end all be all it is a support tool if used by someone who views it with some skepticism to make sure you won't die from a med interaction. Edit: I mean using an alt medical method not necessarily this one, something closer to Chinese herbal medicine.

  • H pylori actually infects the stomach as well, and is the main cause of 95% of stomach cancers. These infections are very treatable by antibiotics, and generally are starting in childhood due to sharing foods with family members who are infected. If you have a family member with h pylori, its highly recommended you get tested for h pylori, by breath test, stool test, or if you've got some GI symptoms requiring scoping of your stomach (upper endoscopy, also called EGD) they can take biopsies and test. It also was published in the last month that BRCA1/2+ people are especially susceptible to stomach cancer due to h pylori, not something most people need to think about, but if you're one of those rare 1 in 400 folks, something to think about.

It will do more than that - it will relax me. Birthday in 6 weeks so need to be well for that. I will exercise lots and eat raw vegetarian food and smoke no more than 5 a day and sleep lots. Might go away for my birthday. Fancy the new forest near my family for long weekend in a hotel for my birthday where I can get massages! Only seen a little bit so far but this lady likes to talk which is perfect for me. Hormonal acne is normal but a good healthy raw vegetarian diet means just a few small spots before my period every month for a few days. I feel like the only one who hasn’t had Covid. Thank God I haven’t had it. This session is just what I needed. I still need help to unwind even though I don’t work due to post traumatic stress.

  • ‼️ As someone currently earning a master’s in nutrition, I can tell you that this is not how you solve nutrition-related concerns. Little tubes cannot tell you if you are experiencing serious nutritional deficiencies or implications. As someone who has studied and practiced nutrition-focused physical exams, raising someone’s arm and putting a tube near them will tell you nothing about their nutritional status or needs. Also, a little tube and raising their arm up will not tell you if they have H. pylori (which is a bacterial infection). If there’s H. pylori in your GI tract you very likely have peptic ulcers and can experience extreme abdominal pain and digestive issues. You should see a medical professional if you think you might have any sort of bacterial infection so you can get proper treatment.
