This is the full movie covering 2 weeks of filming the Tiger Sharks of Fuvahmulah. Fuvahmulah is located just south of the equator and is one of the Maldives most southern islands, where over 160 individual tiger sharks have been identified. It is thought that hundreds more are regular visitors to the waters around the island, making it quite possibly the home of the largest concentration of tiger sharks on the planet.
During the 2 weeks I spent filming these beautiful creatures I had over 60 encounters with them. As you can imagine, I ended up with an enormous amount of footage to edit. It's been really difficult to get the video down to 10 minutes as they were all worthy of uploading here.
The top 2 places in the world to be able to dive up close with Tiger Sharks are;
Tiger Beach, The Bahamas

  • Hey friend!!!! You have outdone yourself with this video!!!!!!!! I love how you blur the images into the same frame, so it seems you are only blurring the sharks!!!!! This is too much.... Very professional :) Congrats again! I can feel how you enjoyed creating it. Hugs!!!!

  • Hello Steve, Amazing film as always .. now I have two questions.. in your opinion ..which is offer more sharks diving quality between Bahamas and Fuvahmulah ? This film could you please share which dive center did you dive with in Fuvahmulah? I do actually want to plan for April 2024 but still can't find a good dive center as I didn't want to do shark diving with 18-20divers at the same time and I know that some dive center there doing this. Thank you so much again for your time and amazing film really appreciated !

    • Hi Oneworld, I'm pleased to hear you liked my video. Both dive destinations have their pros and cons. I liked them both for different reasons. I prefer the Bahamas as you're closer to the tigers and hammerheads. The dive centre I used in Fuvahmulah was "Fuvahmulah Scuba Club".

    • @@SteveColliganUK I go next month and will follow your bubble diving with scuba center Asia for Mola Mola 🤞🏻 , I have a very long thinking and do some research about Fuvahmulah but it’s so many points that turn Fuvahmulah down, maybe I might try to focus on Galapagos and Bahamas 🤭 where will be yours next destination? perhaps we might dive together! Just came back from Tubbataha… this place is amazing 🤩 have you ever been there , it’s in Philippine Sulu sea.

    • @@oneworld3719 You will have a great time on Nusa Lembongan and diving with Scuba Center Asia. It will be Mola Mola season, so fingers crossed for you. You will see Mantas regardless. I'm actually just starting to edit my footage from the Galapagos Islands as I was there in June this year. My next trip will be to the Banda Sea (Indonesia) in October. I've heard the diving is excellent at Tubbataha. I've never been there but would like to go sometime.
