This is my first attempt at playing The Finals - on controller! I wanted to test out The Finals on PS5 to see if it really is in contention to be the best FPS game available to us in 2024. Let me know what you think of The Finals in the comments!

Exciting seeing you get your hands on a controller lol Wasnt expecting you to go Light right off the bat. Great video 😁👍 Also, since you're on controller, I've got some tips. Square let's you pickup teammate trophies to take them somewhere safe for a revive, L11 spots enemies like in BF, and pressing circle to slide while going into a bounce pad makes you go further as well!

It has the potential to be the best, but is ultimately being held back by a toxic community, cheaters, and a poor ranked system.
How do you think these points should be fixed - obviously a better anti-cheat but in terms of the community itself?
an underrated game. everyone is so used to cod that they want something the same or battleroyale and when they give it something that has good mobility, weapons, skills and even THE BEST SKINS! since you can consume your character as you want, they complain. people do not value

People keep echoing this in this community and it's really detrimental, every single person I've seen complain about this game, doesn't want COD, they raise valid points and issues that need addressing, and when you keep trying to pass it off, as they're stupid and want COD and Fortnite, you're not only drowning out their voices, but you're negatively affecting this game, and it's community, and this game deserves better.
@@jordankelly4684 that's fair, as long as points are constructive to the devs etc. then I can't see why they should be 'drowned out' - I think people do get overly defensive about their preferred games which causes this in the first place. Appreciate you checking out my video!

@@NortyMorty There are no cheaters on console, but the pc steam world is a cheater's paradise...I'm thinking of ranked matches here. In almost every game there is a cheater who drags his teammates up into the diamond...It's unbelievable to me that this game has become this...

@@lennieleng9679 That's why I've never played FPS games, but the presence of cheaters in none of them is as unbearable as in The Finals... This game will either be a famous showdown of cheaters, or just another game in the abyss... I know that down you can punish cheaters, but I think the majority likes to play with equal chances, and if that's not there, I won't play against cheaters... Let's hope they solve it, it would be a shame for the gamer...
