ICE CUBE / NWA / D.O.C ON PUMP IT UP 1989

2011 ж. 30 Қаң.

What up Fam,
PUMP IT UP is my favorite and probably the best HIP HOP show to ever come out from the west coast. On this show you see a young Ice Cube breaking down the concepts of NWA, showin off his sp1200's, the DOC's behind the scenes of "The Formula" video, and some cameo's of your favorite West Coast rappers chillin. This was shot before the split.
MAKE SURE YOU BUY EVERYTHING THESE ARTIST PUT OUT CAUSE THATS THE BEST WAY TO SHOW YOUR RESPECT TO THE ARTIST AS A FAN. PLUS IF YOU DON'T OWN ANY OF THE CLASSICS THEY PUT OUT THAN YOUR JUST NOT KNOWIN. -WORD
IT'S ALL LOVE!!!

  • You people may not realize how significant a moment in time this video represents. In fact this could be or is the last interview with the entire original nwa group. The D.O.C. album was the last and one of the best original NWA records. Between NWA and the posse, Ez does it, Straight outta Compton, and DOC no one can do it better, the DOC is right up there ! Not to mention the last track on DOC's record is the Grand Finale which is probably the second or third best track NWA ever put down as a group song. Of course a couple months later Ice Cube left the band. The Band would never fully recover.

I'm not discounting how good Cube was, with NWA pre N4L. Cos the original line up, with Cube, was fucking dope. The good ones die young, hey. They came up fast, went way up, and came down pretty hard, after the band breaking up, cube leaving etc. They were phenomenal.
