Opening Christmas presents with Gerry! 🎄🎁
In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. KZhead earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. Always great to see Gerry :) Andersen is from Odense, a City on the Island Fünen in Denmark. It is a great, very nice to visit. You can visit Andersens childhood house which is a museum since around 1910. There is also a great museum about Andersen, his art and his fairytales.
Seeing Gerald just brightens my day, he has that personality that is contagious, I wish him a very merry Christmas since he will not be at the Château this year. Those gingerbread molds are also really good for rice crispy treats. Even with my kids grown I still will use them to make the rice crispy treats since they are one of my husband‘s favorite things and they are so festive, I love decorating them they look so adorable.
Look into the Willow Tree Nativity set. They come with extra pieces and a large Stable/stars to place all the pieces on or in front of. I’ve wanted this set for years now, but it’s quite expensive and something else always comes first sadly. I’ll live vicariously through your set now. Have a Merry and Blessed Christmas 🙏🎄🎅🏻🧑🏻🎄

Loved all the fun gifts bill sent they are perfect. The cashmere even, for heaven sakes, that is all one needs! I live 20 miles from Biltmore, and was just in the village this week. I know that you'd enjoy seeing it. The grounds are magnificent, and as you said, designed by the landscape architect of New York's Central Park.

My daughter just moved to South Carolina and her in-laws were in town and they took her the first week of the Christmas decorations and she never thought she’d be someone that would get into Château‘s and castles but ever since she was there she’s been obsessed.

In the clear ornament like that, I put rolled up cash. My children have to get the cash out without breaking their ornament. It is forced savings for some, and very fun to watch the efforts to release the cash lol.

The blue bunnies are fantastic! Jeri Landers wrote a book for children with blue bunnies. Her art is intricate. She has peacocks and gardens and builds things like a green house! She is about the same age as Isabelle! Happy Christmas, from me and Bob!

My kids and husband gave me the whole Willow Tree Nativity four years ago. I have everything you got plus the Angel. I have hinted that I want the Stars and the crèche itself for next year. I collect Nativities from all over the world. Special this year is my one from South Africa and one from Argentina that my sister and my daughter got for me this year. They actually had family and friends who picked them up for me while they were in these countries. I also have many Willow Tree figurines. All special for special times in my life. Enjoy your Nativity. Hope you get the Angel at some point. It is on a stand and looks like it flys over the scene.

The clear glass ornaments look like bubbles on the tree. They also reflect the other colors on the tree! Try them clear before you put anything inside they are awesome!

For my husband's 50th birthday I gave him a trip to the Biltmore. We stayed at the Inn on Biltmore Estate, where I found (& bought) the most beautiful Marino Glass bird bath with five different colored birds sitting on the edge. The Biltmore is magnificent and worth the visit, and plan on taking several of the tours! I also recommend the Inn, it was spectacular. Now I must find this book for hubby's 72nd birthday which is the 19th of December... Merry Christmas to you all from a central coastal California girl! XOXOXO
