I can just feel the comment section alive for this one, please don't kill me for this video.
Anyways, hope you enjoy it. This is the style that I want to stick with going forward as I really enjoy making these documentary style videos, but probably going to pick a more relevant topic for my next one, let me know what NFL topic you think I should investigate down below!

  • Great video, quality is A1 💯💯 It's the most ironic thing that the biggest reason Mahomes rating was lower than it should have been is because of his "lack" of mechanics, when his unique mechanics is actually the best attribute he has. He actually knows how to throw the football, like a baseball. That shouldn't be possible 🤣 but he can do it. That's WHY his throws are godly like they are. It creates a dynamic that no one can emulate, or prepare for. QBs can't throw opposite of their run with perfect accuracy. He can. Because that's what pitchers can do. Biggest enigma in the NFL ever. And he will be the GOAT by career's end, mark my words 🔥

    • @@GridironFTBL "because I pissed off a hornets nest by making this video" Wasn't that the point all along? I've done extensive film study of Mahomes. He is definitely an overhyped QB like so many of them today. The Chefs desperately tried to 'make him' the QB stat king of his first two seasons last season, and that would have cost them a trip to the playoffs if they had a playoff contender their division last year. So, the Chefs are desperately trying to reinvent T Hill's time with Mahomes in this years FA and draft. Mahomes is who he is, a QB with a great O-line in front of him (think Brady). He's a guy who on film missed a lot of wide open receivers with an aging TE he has a great rapport with. The Chefs defense was the hero in the last SB, with Chris Jones having much more of an impact for 3 of the four quarters than Mahomes.

He's also just way more athletic than Brady and can make plays Brady can only dream of. No doubt Mahomes will go down as one of the best and will probably take some of Brady's records but I still think it was remarkable what Brady was able to do with his talents and what was given to him team wise.

    • @@nateTrh So we're pretending Brady didn't have Gronk or Moss? I mean c'mon. Admitting that Patrick is a better QB than Brady does not do anything to lessen what Brady accomplished. The only way to compare QB's is statistics. Currently when compared year to year he tops Brady everywhere except SB's (in which they are tied). If he continues his current path he will annihilate Brady's stats. He will be literally the greatest to ever do it. People want to detract from Mahomes saying coaching, supporting cast, etc. etc. His receivers had the most drops in the league this past season and KC still won it all. Brady had Big Bill, Edelman, Moss, Gronk, Welker, and a astonishingly good O-Line for much of his playing time. All in all it's a team game, but stats do not lie. Being a Michigan fan I was a big Brady fan, I'm also a KC fan (lifelong). Which I guess I get to look at it as enjoying both players and seeing things for what they are. Mahomes is it. Period.

    • @faalvey7559 You seem to forget that Brady went 10 years before winning his 4th ring, then strung together the other 3 after that. NE went from 2004 to 2014 without winning the SB. Mahomes hasn't had a season YET where he didn't make the AFCCG. The Chiefs win last year with the worst receiving corps they've had in Mahomes young career. And they still went back-to- back with a chance at something even Brady never accomplished; A 3-Peat. Mahomes has Brady's grasp of the game with far more athletic skills - arm strength, scrambling, and the ability to throw from nearly any arm angle. And let's not talk about his improv abilities when the play breaks down. And the Chiefs just got better this off season. Cry more.

  • “All he has to do” - Playing 23 season as a quarterback at the highest level every year, Tom Brady was literally in the top three at his position (and if not top 3 at least top 5) every single year, FOR 23 season!!! That’s unheard of! That is so ridiculous. I don’t think people truly comprehend the magnitude of what this man did. The average length of a quarterbacks career is about 4 seasons. So Brady played nearly 6 times longer than the average, and not just played 6 times longer, he did it at the highest caliber possible. Below are a list of his TD / INT ratio - Yards by year: 2000 : 0 & 0 - 6 yards 2001 : 18 & 12 - 2,843 2002 : 28 & 14 - 3,764 2003 : 23 & 12 - 3,620 2004 : 28 & 14 - 3,692 2005 : 26 & 14 - 4,110 2006 : 24 & 12 - 3,529 2007 : 50 & 8 - 4,806 2008 : 0 & 0 - 76 2008 : 28 & 13 - 4,398 2010 : 36 & 4 - 3,900 2011 : 39 & 12 - 5,235 2012 : 34 & 8 - 4,827 2013 : 25 & 11 - 4,343 2014 : 33 & 9 - 4,109 2015 : 36 & 7 - 4,770 2016 : 28 & 2 - 3,554 2017 : 32 & 8 - 4,577 2018 : 29 & 11 - 4,355 2019 : 24 & 8 - 4,057 2020 : 40 & 12 - 4,633 2021 : 43 & 12 - 5,316 2022 : 25 & 9 - 4,694 TD’s INT’s YRD’s 649 & 212 - 89,214 Record : 286 - 97 15 Pro Bowl Selections 3 NFL Season MVP’s 5 NFL Super Bowl MVP’s Won his division 20 out of 23 times In other words, he’s the 🐐!

  • Even Brady had multiple concussions with his play style, it has to be considered in how long a player should be able to play when the damage is a known quantity. Every single QB has some level of damage to the brain, new methods of diagnosing this damage should be considered when assessing a player's ability to continue as is used in boxing.

To me, Brady’s greatest achievement was starting with a completely new team, and taking them to the Super Bowl and stomping out the competition with a new team. That being said, Mahomes definitely destroys Brady in athleticism and play extension.

  • One thing a lot of analysts and even football fans missed is Mahomes putting up 93 TDs to 29 INTs in college. Tech had a bad defense with Mahomes and he was a massive gunslinger, but you expect a lot worse than a 3-1 TD-INT ratio from a gunslinger. When you get a gunslinger that can limit his mistakes, you have a unicorn QB. Mahomes Magic is real and he's the greatest we've ever seen going off script during broken plays. The man can create unlike anyone we've ever seen. Mahomes Sr. deserves a lot of credit too. We've never really seen a QB come out of the gate with that much poise and leadership in a locker room. Mahomes learned to be a professional growing up as a kid and he's remained very humble throughout his career. When you package that all together, you have the makings of an all time great player.

Using the Windows that the defense gives you is an art and 15 has mastered it w/o sacrificing going for the big play unlike A-Rod for the sake of great stats but small reward. CHIEFS KINGDOM

  • Mahomes greatest strengths are his photographic memory and flexibility. He rarely struggles a full game, it's only a half at most and then he adjusts. He started out a gun slinger but had to adjust and take the underneath stuff. This next season I think we will see a resurgence of that rookie year numbers. Now that he knows he can be an effective "game manager" if he needs too, coupled with Hollywood Brown and Xavier Worthy, he will be back to taking deep shots. Defenses cannot take away Brown, Worthy, Kelce, and Rice simultaneously. It will be similar to when Brady had Moss. Yes Brady was always seen as a check down guy but then went off when given proper weapons. Mahomes will have proper weapons again this season.

  • The only comparison I can make is to Jordan. I really hate to do that but hear me out. Jordan was quite the gunslinger in his early career through mid-career, but as he aged he became more and more of a game manager. I see Mahomes maturing and doing exactly that in his playstyle. Granted, a lot of that is forced by defenses giving different pressure than in years past, but his adjustments I think will provide for a lot more longevity than your typical "running QB"

Yeah, nowhere, Brady made that defense overrated by simply keeping them off field for long, then the short relative time they were on the field, their interceptions, and 4 and outs they caused or sacks counted alot higher than they should have, because it made them seem like they were doing alot in a short time, thanks to Brady keeping them off the field, Brady kept defenses on the field so long it also made the opposing team's offenses worn out as fuq, you might be right though, the moment he got Moss which was the first good long range threat, he broke all the nfl records anyone ever needed to break, and he wasnt even only passing it to him, your beloved Mahomes has way better comparative receivers than Brady had, and still got embarrassed by old man Brady twice; go cry more hater.

Until he’s won 8 rings and played as long as Brady then all this video truly proves and reveals is speculation. A pipe dream. A crumb for all the Brady haters to throw on their pipe on suck on. So know matter how much of a beast Patrick is, he is still a long way from winning 8 super bowls and having the longevity that Brady did, not to even mention the fact that Brady even went to another team late in his career and won a Super Bowl with them. Listen I say all this with as much love and respect as I can. • I’m about to start some shit, but here we go: Brady was a trailer-the greatest trailer of all time, but a trailer. Sometimes, the truck was going downhill and the trailer propelled it, but he was still the trailer. His first three superbowls were defense and Binatieri’s foot. Seattle made the stupidest goal like decision of all time, so they lost it more than Brady won it. Same with Atlanta. Against the Rams, he would t have even been in it after throwing a game sealing interception, except for Dee Ford being off sides. And he got the ball in OT and nobody changed the rules for KC. Then in that Super Bowl, it was once again defense. And with Tampa, he went to the most loaded team in the league and Mahomes shad a set of turnstiles for an O-line, and his best receiver slept dripping everything. Mahomes is now and has always been the truck. His first 6 years are the best of all time and may never be duplicated. He’s not the GOAT yet, because that’s about accomplishment-but he’s the best I’ve ever seen
