Aaron Rodgers would be awesome as a guest host for Jeopardy from the Green Bay Packers! My favorite guest hosts I like are guys. For Example: Ken Jennings, Mike Richards, Dr. Mehmet Oz & Aaron Rodgers
I loved how at about the 3:50 mark he referred to it as “my podium”. Shows him taking an ownership of the position. Shows how much he’d actually love to become the full time host.

@Sandy Gan Uhh no, I was referring to Dr. Oz. I watched his interview for Jeopardy and he did not speak as nearly as eloquently. He talked way too fast and his answers were not really relevant to the question being asked of him.

Except that many Iditarod dogs are severely mistreated. Many do not get adequate protection from the environment, adequate food, or veterinary care. Other than that, good story.

My grandparents watched this all the time too. My grandma is super gullible and one time me and my dad recorded an episode and wrote down all the answers, then played the recording when it was time for the show, and she was amazed at how we knew all the answers 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My mom always watched with her mom.. she would write the answers on a plate and cover it with crackers 😂😂😂 she too was amazed she knew everything

I think Aaron Rodgers is definitely the best one to fill this spot. I think Alex Trebek would be proud to have him in this position. He is smooth, calm and has the charisma that is needed for Jeopardy. After watching this interview it is also clear that he is humanitarian type of person like Alex was.. perfect fit!

I'm a Vikings fan and each year for the last 5 years I have grown to like and appreciate Aaron more and more. He's a rare mix of cool and relatable.
I have been a fan of Aaron Rogers since l saw him on Jeopardy. I love the fact that he is a Jeopardy fan and he looks like he has a calming presence. He did a weekly segment on the Pat McAfee show this past season, did a lot for his PR imo. Media definitely painted him as a spectacular athlete, but not a fantastic teammate/person, but those segments absolutely changed that.

I still would prefer Ken to be the permanent host, but I heard the producers and crew were very surprised and impressed by Aaron's hosting ability. He obviously respects the game and he has more star power than any of the other guest hosts. My first choice would be Ken as well, not sure if he would want it or if the higher ups would chose him. I just hope they don't base it on sex and choose a woman, just for the sake of window dressing and how it looks on paper. I truly hate the sexist approach to decision making. Select based on talent, to those who it is up to and not just to make a change, for the sake of doing so and engender yourselves to special interests or groups.

Ratings overall are the factor and under Katie Couric the show ratings took a dive so I guess the Jeopardy audience would disagree with you and nobody gave a damn that Doctor Oz is not hack for the mob. It's amazing how that works isn't it? Maybe the ratings dive under Katie had to do with her ignorant comment that over 75 million people in this country had to be deprogrammed or maybe it was because she sucked. Not everybody looks at life through a political, racial or sexual orientation blue lens. The best person qualified should get the job and Dr. Oz was the only person who got bad press and boycotted because how dare he not march in line with the leftist mob! Katie said far worse and no boycott or bad press... imagine that?
when Aaron brought up the childhood stuff. brought back so many memories of my childhood watching these game shows at my grand parents house. sadly i never watched a single episode of jeopardy until Rodgers hosted a few weeks ago. but yeah all those announcers and hosts never thought how much they impacted my life until that very question and response.

What if the "contract situation" is a way for him to leave football and host Jeopardy. I know its crazy and I want him in GB for many more years (go pack go) but at some point he is going to go after what brings him the most joy, which should be higher on everyone's priority list. Also GB has squandered the talents of the most talented QB we've ever seen.
Aron, I have a total new level of respect and admiration after hearing your advice and input following your Jeopardy interview and participation! It is extremely enlightenly to know that you are such a fan of Jeopardy and that you would actually like to be the host in the near future. Your presence and obvious expertise in Jeopardy as well as being one of my true heroes in football, just speaks volumes to me at how special you are and now I am even more a fan of yours!

They are the 8 Public Ivys.

I am loving Aaron Rodgers as the host. The best so far of the guest hosts. He is great with the contestants and adds his own flare to the questions.
I was watching Jeopardy on Tuesday while cooking and was like, "FINALLY, THIS GUY'S VOICE HAS THAT IT FACTOR!" ... I walked over to my TV and was ASTONISHED to see AARON "That Baaaad Man" Rodgers!!! Not a Greenbay fan, nor an Aaron Rogers fan, but I will say this, he was surprisingly good at hosting this show. I enjoyed watching him and he was my favorite by far. He would be a great permanent host.
We all want Jeopardy to work something out with Aaron. He is definitely the best by far. Unless you have a Trebek Clone you're going to pull out at the end, then Aaron Rodgers has my vote. You can tell he truly enjoys it. He also brings The most outside interest, which can only enhance the show.

Aaron Rocks! Best Jeopardy Guest Host yet! His second week he found his rhythm and let his humor show. He's got what it takes to be the next permanent host. I may be a little biased as I am a "Cheesehead" but there's no arguing Aaron's good at it and will only get better. Alex was very philanthropic and I believe Aaron would follow in Alex's footsteps.

Yeah, it was sad, in advance of the Super Bowl the 3 contestants were so atrocious on answers any football fan would know, but yet, these contestants know some obscure mythology fact or science technicality. I love sports and geography categories and rarely miss any, but recent pop culture, often know none of the answers, though I might "bone up" if I was going on show.
I would've aced that category. I'm a huge football fan.

When Aaron stepped on the stage Monday, he brought in a calm that we didn't realize we had been missing. Yes, it is vital to continue to honor Alex, Alex would be the first to say that whoever is selected to take us forward as host, there is plenty of room to carve out you own niche. One thing Jeopardy has never done is divert away from the core belief that this is so very much about the contestants. Aaron is doing a wonderful job in this stead.
