    • Yeah but: Life without parole. Isn't that sufficiently / enough!? Anyways: It will not be granted by the federal government. If he gets convicted under a moratorium. And if after a moratorium get's lifted, he and all other death verdicts of other convicted as such, they will not get the death penalty / can then neither after all lawfully be executed after the date a federal moratorium would theoretically be lifted ( which won't happen by the way). Neither can a death penalty verdict lawfully be given, for for a crime that has taken place in jurisdiction or statute (federal or not), that has abolished or put a moratorium on the deathpenalty. Because to condem to death before, and wait with execution till and after a capital punishment would be reintroduced., or an existing moratorium lifted; would be a violation of due process, fairness and violates our constitution.

  • Life imprisonment without parole is (in my opinion) better than the death penalty. It is a lot less expensive and it brings finality to a case that 20-40 years of appeals and reversals cannot. I deplore this person and his ideology, but I proudly oppose capital punishment. Even for him. As it is, he already has life sentences on state murder charges in New York. Despite my opposition to what the State Department wants to do, I do still think he should be given additional life sentences on federal hate crimes and needs to be held accountable for that.

    • No, they did not and have not. Like is increasingly common, the restriction of the death penalty was forced on the people of New York by the New York State Court of Appeals (their atrocious highest court). The Justice Department is correct here. What is actually ridiculous however, is that this justice department has a moratorium on executions because they are morally debased and inconsistent emotional utilitarians. The death penalty properly executed is good, just, and good for society. Sad that it takes something like this for people to realize it.

The shooter i stopped admitted he was spurred to kill black women because they were bullies who demand people be identified by phenotype classifications that deny him the right to claim his slave ancestry (he's black). And someone in this comment section reported that as hate speech. 😮. And KZhead removed my original comment. KZhead will be sued in a class action for constitutional rights violations 😊

    • Serious and accurate education would have saved the life of this dude. How ? African Americans did not replace the Native population of the Americas. It's the European Americans. How ? Smallpox decimated the Natives (erroneously called Indians). Of course Hollywood made it Indians and Cowboys which is not really the main factor. That made the Americas assume a European face. Smallpox facilitated the replacement of brown Indigenous with light-skinned European. Indians in India who had immunity to smallpox maintain their brown feature and were never replaced by the European even though it was also invaded by the Brits.

    • I agree. Life without parole.
