    • @@RealTalkPowersports The model we have is the CFMOTO 800Mt. On the sides it has Cf800-5. and N39° printed on stickers. It's a brilliant platform for people who are starting off on a larger bike due to price or someone who's retiring but wanting to ride something easier to handle than a Harley which is absolutely hell to park up due to insane weight especially after a winter's day ride. I'm seeing the heated seats and grips are going to be a great asset but I'm not sure about the cruise control as it's possibly a very dangerous idea when tired.

    • @@conmanumber1 If you worry about weight with a Harley, the new Lowrider ST is AMAZING. it weighs almost the same this bike does, comes with a full fairing, bags and POWER. The new Harleys are QUITE different! It's also BEAUTIFUL. I am ordering one very soon.

  • Thanks for the video! I'm intrigued by the ADVentura, as it looks cool and offers a lot of value for the money. Its competition would be the Suzuki V-Strom 650XT Adventure and the Kawasaki Versys 650 LT; they're $10.5K and $10K respectively. Compared to its Big Four competition, the ADVentura offers more for less; it offers a lot of value, an important consideration in these days and times. I'm retired, so I have to be careful with my money. Why spend thousands you don't have to? With the ADVentura, you don't HAVE to! I like the looks of the ADVentura; it's unique and different. I like both colors; both colors look good. I like how the TFT panel changes when you change modes; it's readily obvious when you do. I like the layout of the display; everything is logically laid out and easy to see at a glance. The controls appear to be intuitive and user friendly-always a good thing; just from your quick video, I was able to figure them out. Finally, I checked the owner's manual, and the ADVentura has long service intervals; the first valve check doesn't come until 24K miles. I think CFMoto has a huge WINNER here!

  • 17" aluminum wheels... A touring motorcycle for sure (it's basically the 650NK street bike with a windscreen and bags). An adventure bike, a longshot. This bike is actually about 4 years old. The CF800MT is their proper adventure/enduro bike (not available here right now). That bike used the KTM 790 engine.

    • I think that the CFMoto ADVentura is more like the Suzuki V-Strom or Kawasaki Versys; they're basically road going, practical sport tourers that can hit a hard pack dirt road. Those Big Four bikes are its direct competition, but the CFMoto is THOUSANDS LESS!

  • The saga continues with the quality of the bike. It has been 21 days since I bought the bike. The electronics were attached with double sided tape. The only miles on the bike are riding home and then back to the dealership. The dealership has ordered parts twice and they arrived yesterday and they are wrong. They are ordering again but do not know what to expect. I called CF Moto in Minnesota and the rep on the phone said this is the dealership problem and that they would contact the dealer. She pretty much hung up on me because they do not take care of the customer it is a dealer problem

  • I rode for about 700 miles over 3 days. Motor pulls well. Transmission is good but not perfect, had trouble going into 1st from N twice. Bike exhibits understeer and front suspension felt a bit wooden on rough roads using stock settings. Main issue w bike is that it blows hot air on legs. Still, a decent bike if it holds up. The panniers work well BTW. I am a very experienced rider and currently own an Africa Twin.

    • Have you checked the head, oil or water temps with an IR gun? I'm wondering if the issue is actual engine temperature or if it's more a hot airflow to the rider issue.

If they hold up against the Yamaha Tenerè, the Kawasaki Versys, and other bikes in this class, they'd be a bargain buy. This bike resembles the Versys, because it has true street tires on it , unlike a real offroad bike. As you said, "Hard pack" roads and such, and it's fine.
