Another long requested retake, this time, of what is now the second longest car wash in Florida, Bubble Down Car Wash.
Bubble Downs first store has changed quite a bit in the 4 years since my last video. In 2021, Bubble Down upgraded from DRB to Sonny’s for both POS and tunnel controls. Bubble Down switched from
Solutions Direct to all Diamond Shine chemistry, which they will run at their future stores. Several tunnel components have changed including most of the original Sonny’s foamers to Mr. Foamer. Extra services such as the Bubble Bath, Bee’s Knees Hot Wax, Spiffy Shield, and Bubble Guard Ceramics now run from Mr. Foamer Foaminator MAXX units. Bubble Down also introduced a fourth package at $25 that includes Bubble Guard Ceramics, the 3-step ceramic process run off Diamond Shine Ceramic X3. Triple foam is now applied near the grill brush via three Mr. Foamer banana foamers, and a Mr. Foamer Infusion Scent applicator applies Infusions Orangesicle fragrance down at the windshield to allow the scent to circulate through the AC of the vehicle, which allows the scent to flow inside the vehicle. The rest of the tunnel remains the same. At the time of this recording, the Sonny’s DCW top brush and the Sonny’s grill brush are currently retracted due to maintenance.
Bubble Down Nebraska is a very high volume site. On busy days, this store can easily wash 1000 cars a day and more!
Bubble Down’s signature 167’ wash tunnel has now been dethroned as their brand new Falkenburg Rd store in Brandon will feature dual 200’ double tunnels!

Bubble Down is hands down one of the coolest Sonny's car wash tunnel chains I have ever seen! Since these are in my area, at least 1 location shall be filmed. Because of the rare side buff-dry at this location, this one seems like I should film. However, the two-tunnel one is lovely too!

My 4 year old twins are obsessed with your car wash videos! They even have favorite car washes that we have never visited in person. Bubble Down being number 1. Funny thing is, they are terrified of going inside one in real life! What is the song in the intro, sometimes they have me restart the video over and over just to jam out.

Is the tri foam where the grill brushes are? Also the only thing left to have in the tunnel are more LED light and have application signage’s. Because honestly how can you tell what you are receiving on your car
Yes, triple foam is applied right before the grill brush. In addition, Bubble Down’s newest store has more LED lights in its tunnels.

Did you have permission to record inside of the car wash? Seems dangerous to be near all that moving equipment.
Yes, I always get permission before I film inside of a car wash, and I always make sure to exercise caution when maneuvering around car wash equipment! Hope this helps :)

It has been retracted for the time being due to maintenance, it will need to be readjusted.

They're made out of cloth. Of course they can't scratch. Only nails scratch

@@jacobisworld9516 well in Europe there is a brush Material called polythen (pe) they scratch alotttt
The brushes are made of foam material, doesn't retain any sand, dirt, or debris, and is constantly being lubricated. No scratches, or swirls will be made. I work for a wash similar to this, and we don't damage reports due to scratches unless it was customer negligence.
@@CarWashReviewsEthanBickmore Of course they do. Cloth, foam, or microfibre, they lift particles of grime and dust - particularly from the wheels and rocker panels - and spread them to other parts of the body and other cars.
The top brush is not wirking
As of writing this, it has been fixed and now comes back down onto cars.

I never said that I was “scared to not be able to see for a second”? That is completely exaggerated. I have over 5 years of car wash experience. I am trained to know exactly when to use my wipers. I only use my wipers for one reason, because part of my videos is focused on the equipment side and I want my viewers to be able to see the equipment functioning from inside the car. No one wants to just sit and watch a screen of foam. However, never once do I ever encourage or recommend anyone to use their wipers in a car wash. Because yes, there’s always a risk of your wipers being ripped off. I am only doing it for the sake of filming purposes and that is at my own risk. My wipers have never been broken off before, and my wipers are completely fine. That’s why i’ve been trained, but thank you for your concerns. Yes, caramendek702 has boken them in the car wash before. He forgot to turn off the auto-wiper function and has a hard time putting his car in neutral. So, he uses little bucket of dish soap, a sponge, and a garden hose outside.
