@@foty8679 It "works" but it's very unstable, desyncs happen frequently along with constant lag etc, though in all other games me and my friends play like EU4 etc we never experience lag. Just CK2 :(

I really hope that you guys are going to be able to pull this game off properly. CK2 was by far my favorite game that your company released, and it would be a real shame if CK3 became the next Imperator.
imperator is totaly fine, it just needs more dlc's xD all paradox games need alot dlc's before they what u are used to when u play the game before with 50 dlc xD
@@DaxRaider I played CK2 without any dlc the first time around and I loved it then, still would today. you're wrong, if they manage to execute on the base game like they should you would not need 20 DLCs before having a decent game. the game should be able to stand on its own without DLC life-support. DLC should bring spice and side dishes to an otherwise perfectly good main course.

@@Eltener123 Yes but he base game is still great to play. The same cannot be said of Imperator. I like the base game to be good so it can be enjoyed before Paradox ruins it by releasing £300 of dlc for it and making the game a bloated mess.

Now before we all lose ourselves to hype, let's just remember that this is a Paradox game. So whatever gets released in September should be considered Early Access, and it'll probably take about 3 or 4 updates/DLCs to reach something worthy of the title "Full Release". Remember how barebones the initial release version of HOI4 was, compared to now?

@@Rynewulf Well, while Imperator: rome was not up to standards in my opinion. Still Most of the time their games have been worth it even without DLC. Atleast their older titles. CK2 and EU4 was great games even at release. Then they added a-ton of DLC that made the game better and better over time that's true, but that also kept the titles fresh and alive for longer with active players to this day. DLC is fine if you get them as they get released, however if you are late at the party and try to get the game years after release then i understand that it's annoying that the game will cost like 300$ or somthing to get all the DLC.

As if the game will be remotely complete in it's initial version... it could well be 2022 before we have something worthy of the CK2 legacy. This is Paradox, after all.
@@BaronVonMott I mean CK2 have like 8 years of DLC worth of extra content. So obviously that game might have more systems and features in play than a new title. Still i do think they have made a good ''base'' game this time around from all the dev diaries and stuff they released. Most of the DLC that are in CK2 they have kept in CK3. Like being able to play muslim,indian,pagan,african rulers, having the council with powerful vassals, the way of life DLC with diffrent lifestyles ect. So it have alot more to the base game this time around than what CK2 had on release for sure. Will they continue to support the game long term and sell DLC for more content that slowly make the game even better? Of course they will. That does not necessarily mean that the base game is bad and not worth the money though. But i guess we will have to see.
Oh yes! Now it remains to wait for the appearance of Victoria 3 and the dream will come true.

It's a DPX game, it's always worth pre-ordering. Even a "failed" release like Imperator: Rome still gave me more hours of playtime before I got bored than it took me to finish the biggest AAA single player games on the market like Dark Souls 3 and The Witcher 3. And I loved both of those games.

Most features that made it's way into CK2 through DLC will be in the base game of CK3. Even though they have changed of some of the systems work of course.

For ck2 was for 99,9% perfect, after playing hundreds of hours I cannot really remember anything that did not make sense (excluding my heir turning into a polar bear and then spawning some demon spawn), everything was in place, nothing really lacked anything. Ck2 was always the game that I played when I got bored of some other, as it never got old and still kept bringing new things and new things to learn about the game. I am instantly pre-ordering, but the only thing I am worried about in ck3 is the bit of "arcadiness" or the more lack of random events that really made ck2to what it is today

This is all great and all, but can I make Luxembourg an empire in CK3? I was depressed when i understand that in CK2 Luxembourg can't be upgraded to a Duchy level.
It's already a duchy isn't it? And formable and custom kingdoms and empires have been in CK2 for years buddy
@@Rynewulf it WAS. They deleted it year ago, or even more. There are only a one line for it in game files, and it doesn't even have county as a part of it.
Stels Carrot just play as the count, conquer everyone, and make a custom kingdom. That’s one of the funnest parts of Ck2
