What happen if you dont update your tinfoil?. Do you need latest tinfoil version to download newly released games?, or you still can download new released game even with older tinfoil version?. Because i want to install eiyuden hundred heroes but it isnt available in my tinfoil app. Fyi the game just released in this april 2024.

Just updated from firmware 15 on my oled modded switch. Worked great, I did get a black screen the first time it booted up. I held the power button and tried it again booted just fine the second time. Ty!

Need a emulator. Retroarch works great. Just add the games to your SD card.

I just updated to 18.0 on Atmosphere and OFW and downloading games from Libera (like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 for example) works fine, but I get an error message at the end (can't remember, something about tickets?) and when I open the game from the Switch's menu it says "Unable to open software" or something like that. Good to see another shop. I updated my daughter's switch last night and I used a global firmware (I believe is used for emulators) which I guess was a bad idea because it kept crashing on me, but anyway, so I guess I'll have to wipe the sd card and reinstall all the games. If anyone has a way around this let me know, Im trying to copy the old emuMMC over for now and try that just to see if all her games are back up and running so fingers crossed. Otherwise this shop will same me alot of time.
I finally got atmosphere running after tons of trouble redoing the same steps over and over (I did them correct im positive) and now this is not working im guessing because im disconnected from internet. is it okay to connect to internet while in atmosphere? I also am trying to just copy torrent from my pc to the switch using the program in atmosphere and it keeps disconnecting half way through im getting really pissed with all of this please give more details in your videos like you didnt tell us which emmu to back up or talk about partitioning in your other video or how you have to put the correct files back into your sd card
when i try to transfer from pc directly to sd card it says file is too large when it shows over 100gb free space this is ridiculous

Ive wayched all your videos on modding the switch its helped but im stuck on this tin foil so i have downloaded tinfoil self installer and moved the switch file to the sd card but once i go to enject the sd card after doing so it says sd card is still running warning it lets me still enject the sd card but once i put it into the switch and go to tinfoil theres nothing just tinfoil please help

Anybody know why I have to keep re-adding the shop every time I leave Tinfoil? This didn't happen before with another shop I was using (no longer have the info). So now every time I go back into TInfoil, I have to re-add the shop because it's not there anymore. I add it like in the instructions, save and am able to download files. But then when I close the software then go back in, it's gone again and I have to re-add it! Is it just me?

Check spelling and that you are using https not http. Also that's your connected to wifi. It's also possible it's down so check again later.

Go to queue and see if it completed or errored out. Don't leave the app when downloading a anything.
Why some of the games like NBA 2k24 has 60Gb requirements when i download only 9GB then when run i only on the Quickplay.
Might need to have DLC and updates selected when you download the game

Hey, I've run into an issue where tinfoil closes completely because "an error occured" at random times, any clues to what this or how to fix it? My sigpatches are all up to date, so it shouldn't be that nvm I fixed it, if anyone else is having this problem, I just uninstalled and reinstalled tinfoil on my switch,

Need wifi. You can use a 90dns or wipe your SN with tinfoil. That you will have to look up.
I opened the tinfoil installer and a nintendo network error came up. Now there is just an invisble app that wouldnt open where the tinfoil app should've been. I saw someone else in the comments had this problem, is there a fix?

I had this earlier just download the applet version of the files and instead of going to the photos and holding zr just open a game and hold r button instead it fixed my issue

That's a limitation on the shops side. I never see more that 10mbs
@@JonnyTroche its not that it must goin over 7mbs, its just I download 2 minutes a game with 7mbs and than it drops to 0.1-0.4mbs and still download on this low mbs
