We've been hunting for LUXURY VINTAGE CLOTHES and accessories all year long, in charity shops and vintage stores, and now it's time to show you our amazing finds!!!
We will show you bags, loafers, silk scarves, shirts, blazers and coats from the HIGH END BRANDS of the past and of the present such as: Celine, Max Mara, Valentino Garavani, Dolce & Gabbana, Escada, Moschino, Guy Laroche, Krizia, Salvatore Ferragamo & many others.

When a top has a long rather close fitting chimney ( ciminiera) neckline , it is called a turtleneck , when it is long but wider and creates folds, it is called a cowl neckline :)))

Mamma mia and I loved to wander through shops for vintage fashions ... be they a scarf, shoe, handbag, watch or jewellery. Our idea of Heaven followed by lunch or afternoon tea on one of the restaurants or cafes lining the Geelong Eastern Beach esplanade. Miss our lovely outings.

I have a question ... in one of your Christmas videos you showed a beautiful lace runner you inherited from your Grandmother. Did your Grandmother make it and is it a typical form of lace found in Italy? It is a treasure!
Hello Sarah 😃👋 the lace runner you've seen in my Christmas video was my grandmother, but she didn't make it. She used to display it over a big wooden chest, I can remember it was full of fabric pieces (she was a tailor) and when I was young I loved to play with them and to 'dress up'. It's surely handmade in Italy, and since it's a piece that I remember from my childhood, I will not sell that one, but I have a collection of doilies and I can also sell some of them, so if you see something you like in my videos, don't be afraid to ask! 😉 Thank you for writing and I will see you soon in the next episode! 😃👋

I’m not sure, at this stage was planning on travelling around for the 10 days. Wanted to make some decisions based on good thrifting places. Unfortunately won’t have a car, so will need to be able to be reached by public transport. Do you have any recommendations. So excited to watch your latest video.
@@TerrieFielding-te1ll I think you'll find better thrifting places in the northern part of Italy, so I suggest talking the train and go up to Rome (I have a couple of videos about thrifting in Rome on my channel if you're interested) and I've heard that also Florence is full of markets and shops, but I will go there at the end of this month and I will show you everything in a new video! 😉 Of course I'm an expert of the Veneto region, which is where I live, and I can suggest more good thrifting spots!

Ciao Michela, chiamiamo charity shop in generale tutti i negozi che rivendono oggetti donati da privati, e che con i fondi ricavati realizzano opere di bene. Ce ne sono tanti anche in Italia, io fino a un paio di anni fa non ne avevo idea, ma sono difficili da trovare su google maps! Puoi cercare "Emmaus", che è una catena, oppure "abiti usati", "cooperativa sociale", "mercatino solidale", questo genere di parole, e vedere se esce qualcosa! Spero di esserti stata utile, ci vediamo nei prossimi video!!! ❤
